Rihanna’s Arty Video For Reb’l Fleur Perfume Is Here

Rihanna has a fragrance and I have so many questions. Why does Reb’l Fleur have no “e” in it? What does Reb’l Fleur even mean? How much money did Rihanna spend on this bizarre video that sorta, kinda advertises her new perfume but mostly just showcases how pretty she is? And is it really “fruit-salad scented”? Really? Smell As Sweet As Khloe And Lamar’s Love

All you boys and girls who are on the hunt for a new fragrance—your quest ends here. Khloe Kardashian and her hubby Lamar Odom have created a unisex perfume, called Unbreakable, based on the scent of their love. No, it doesn’t smell like his NBA quality sweat or her nail glue and hairspray fumes. It smells like unisex chocolate. Duh! “It took a long time to create what we both wanted and would wear and love, and we found the perfect one,” says Khloe. “Someone just asked me, ‘What are you wearing?’ and I love that I can say, ‘It’s our fragrance!’” Valentine’s Day gifts, solved. YSL Ad Banned For Simulating Drug Use

A commercial for Yves Saint Laurent’s Belle D’Opium fragrance has been banned in the U.K. because the ad supposedly shows models “simulating drug use.” The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) “therefore concluded it was irresponsible and unacceptable for broadcast.” In the ad (above), the character of “Belle” runs her finger down her arm and the ASA concluded that action “could be seen to simulate the injection of opiates into the body.” The ASA also felt that Belle’s movements later in the ad, including one in which “her body [seizes] upwards while lying on the floor,” could be viewed as “simulating the effect of drugs on the body.” Personally, I just think she’s dancing like nobody’s watching. Kind of hilariously, the Daily Mail U.K. notes that the ad has already been viewed by 44 million people and that a whopping 96 percent of French women (specifically!) didn’t think there was anything inappropriate about the commercial. So what do you think? Do you side with the crusty old ASA or those hip French ladies? [Huffington Post] Keep reading »

Lady Gaga Wants You To Smell Like Period Sex

There’s going to come a point in this sabbatical of mine where I am really going to miss having sex. And when that time comes, how to fight the urge? Perhaps by titillating the senses that are stimulated by having sex, I can give myself a little “taste,” so to speak, without participating in the act itself. Lady Gaga’s upcoming fragrance should help. According to Fashionista, Gaga wants her first perfume to smell like semen and blood, the combination of which, in my mind at least, will result in Eau de Period Sex. Yes, inhaling the bleach-tinged aroma of salty sweet blood is sure to help me fight my craving for some P for my V. Thanks Gaga! [Fashionista] Keep reading »

Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur Fragrance Ad

Even though Rihanna looks beautiful, the ad for her much-anticipated Reb’l Fleur fragrance doesn’t exactly say fragrance to me. I’m also surprised she wore that rebellious red hair, but I guess that was the point. Keep reading »

Taylor Momsen For John Galliano’s Parlez Moi D’Amour Fragrance

Dare I say Taylor Momsen actually looks sexy in this ad for John Galliano’s Parlez Moi D’Amour fragrance? She has on her usual stockings and short dress, but that Galliano flavor just makes her more sultry and believable. [Design Scene] Keep reading »
