For so long the skinny jean has either been uber-hipster or uber-sexy. Now it’s found some middle ground by becoming just a bit boyish, thanks to Forever 21′s construction pocket cut which has been adapted for a tight leg. The flattering back pockets add a little something different too, so maybe, for the first time, you won’t be wearing the same jeans as every other girl in the room. This two-tone cardigan from Forever 21′s Twelve by Twelve line proves our point that black and brown can be worn together. Notice how the taupe-y brown softens the basic black so the complete look has a classic Chanel feel, but the zipper flower pin adds a bit of kitsch. Pair this cardigan with blue or black jeans or a black pencil skirt for a sophisticated, fun outfit. [$29, Forever 21] Keep reading »
Forever 21 has unveiled the new arrivals to the Twelve by Twelve line, and we’re totally smitten. Maybe it’s the styling. Maybe it’s the fact that model Georgie Badiel is the epitome of Parisian chic, despite hailing from Burkina Faso. Or maybe it’s simply the clothes. One thing’s for sure, we’ve got some spending to do. Check out more photos of the line after the jump. [Forever 21] Keep reading »
Forever 21 goes avant-garde with their new skirt offering, which gives a new meaning to the phrase “hands-on attention.” We’re not really sure how we feel about it though. [Forever 21] Keep reading »
Please, Forever 21, at least try to make it look like you’re not totally ripping off the street artist Banksy with this $22 cotton hoodie. Admittedly, he probably doesn’t care that he’s being ripped off by a mall chain store: Banksy is so “arty” that he doesn’t sell doodads with his designs on them; instead he posts JPEGs of all his artwork online for his admirers to take for free.
But still. It’s the principle of the thing, Forever 21: think up your own designs! [Forever 21, Banksy] Keep reading »
It might have taken a while for the military jacket trend to trickle down to the affordable mass retailers, but we’ve finally found a version we love. (Of course, when you spend time seeking out the perfect alternative to the luxury model, the second you find something, no one’s really talking about it anymore. Which is just as well.) This Forever 21 soldier jacket plays up the style well with its epaulets and antique-inspired buttons, but stays far away from camp with a neutral color. [$27.80, Forever 21] Keep reading »
Continuing their obvious bid for complete and total retail domination, Forever 21 has expanded into beauty, because clearly they’re not satisfied simply sticking to fast fashion. The new collection, Love & Beauty, will launch on Nov. 8 and include lip gloss, mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner. While the products surely won’t be Sephora-style quality, it’ll most likely be the cheapest and easiest way to try new beauty trends — a similar approach for many to their trendy clothing. If you spend $75 today, you’ll receive a free lip gloss to try … and hopefully you’ll love it enough to become a fan of the line. This is just the beginning of their expansion though, as the brand is planning on moving into the home goods sector as well. Like we said, total domination. [Forever 21] Keep reading »
Forever 21 has just released a pair of dark wash, one-percent stretch skinny jeans for $9.50. Yes, $9.50. (I’ve been known to spend more on lunch!) Got to say, they’ve got the right amount of spandex stretch to be flattering, are in a great, go-anywhere wash and, on the model at least, look to be the best length for all the insane heels we’re crushing on these days. What do you think, too good to be true? If anyone hits up Forever 21, I’m begging you to try ‘em on and report back! [Lucky via Racked] Keep reading »
Any fashionista worth her wardrobe knows that she can buy trendy stuff from Forever 21, but who really has the patience to wade through all the crap and mess that plagues the actual store? We don’t, that’s for sure. So we’ll just surf the website to find all the trendy and classic (bet you didn’t think Forever 21 had “classic” in them) items to add to our autumn wardrobe. I’m really loving the Crochet Trim Sweater Cardigan because I can’t afford real Chanel, but don’t want to wear a complete knockoff. Check out 17 garments and accessories we’re loving for their design and price, after the jump.

Forever 21 debuted their “Twist” line online today, which they call “Fashion With A Twist Of Punk!” I love shopping at Forever 21 so I checked it out. I found a very cute swing-y, satiny gray skirt ($19.80) I love and a shiny, black-and-gray striped strapless dress ($24.80) that’d be cute to wear out dancing. But really, the Forever 21 Twist clothes are about as authentically “punk” as Avril Lavigne is … which is to say they’d have Sid Vicious rolling in his grave. Let me tell you how it is, young mall rats: Real punks would and do not shop at Forever 21. Real punks ripped their own clothes up. Real punks pierced themselves with safety pins and didn’t cry about it. Real punks rolled in their own piss on the floor at CBGB. Got it? [Forever 21 Twist] Keep reading »
