I know you think it’s 2013, but as far as the fashion universe is concerned, we’re already living in the future. It’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for swimwear, and designers have been showing their swimsuit collections for summer 2014. Basically, this is all the stuff you’ll be seeing in Urban Outfitters next year. And the consensus? Everybody’s going to be rocking some pretty insane tan lines, if these looks are any indication. We soldiered through and looked at all the suits, and selected some of the crazier silhouettes for next season. Check ‘em out.
A few weeks ago, guests at Dolce and Gabbana’s show for Milan Men’s Fashion Week got an eyeful when a male streaker jumped on the runway. The naked prankser, who was wearing only his red sneakers, gallivanted onto the runaway after the designers’ final bow until he was caught by security. According to reports, attendees were unfazed by the naked man … probably since strange things happen at fashion shows more often than you would think! For example… [GQ]
Aaaaand it’s a wrap! After New York, London, Milan, and finally 9 long, show-filled days in Paris, Fashion Month is over. We’ll certainly miss the constant flow of impressive new looks, both on the runway and in the streets… but we can’t imagine that the globe-trotting editors and fashionistas who have to actually cover each individual show in person share our sentiments.
