It’s terrible. We were so pulling for Kylie Bisutti, the former winged-underwear model. After all, Victoria’s Secret models are usually only known for doing one of two things: losing all their baby weight in two weeks or dating Adam Levine. Bisutti, on the (wayyy) other hand, left the coveted model position last year because it was clashing with her Christian values. She moved with her husband to Montana where she wrote her memoir, I’m No Angel: From Victoria’s Secret Model To Role Model, and began her new clothing line, God inspired fashion. (Yes, the “i” and the “f” are not capitalized, for some reason.) Keep reading »
Mischa Barton seemed like she hit rock bottom for a while but she is looking very healthy now. She scored the cover of Nylon Korea (May 2012). What is she up to now? The former ‘O.C’ star has turned her focus to fashion. Her clothes retail between $45 and $450. She launched her clothes 2 months ago and they were sold out in days.
“It’s for women ranging from 15 to 35. There are different pieces that will appeal to different styles, but the main thing is I wanted it to feel functional and easy to wear,” Barton told WWD. “My sister, who’s 36 and a barrister in London, wears a lot of it.” Read more …
“I just figure that I … I’m funky. I got that from my stylist, Marisa. I’m funky, like she say. … A year from now, I want all these items to be mine. Rebirth. I want – I just figure people want to be funky like me, so I got my clothing line.”

In an entirely unsurprising move, pint-sized stylist-turned-celebrity Rachel Zoe is launching her own brand, in fall 2011. Creatively titled The Rachel Zoe Collection, the line will include clothes, accessories and undies. Celebrity fashion lines typically make us a bit nervous, but Zoe’s fame did come from being a stylist, so she may escape the clutches of all things boring and derivative. That said, she wears a few too many tent dresses and isn’t typically all that impressive with her personal style. What do you think? Excited or over it? [NBC] Keep reading »
Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” made her a hit sensation in the pop music world, but she’s gotten more attention for her fashion sense (or lack thereof) than her music. She’s better known for braving the chilly temperatures in outrageous outfits — like bra tops and bikini bottoms with no coat. Still, her lack of clothing isn’t stopping her from become a fashion designer. She’s starting her own fashion line, which will include … pants! Does she even own pants? Because I’ve never seen her wear a pair. GaGa’s foray into fashion may not be that big of a shocker, considering she designs all her own outfits, but it is amusing. She told the Mirror, “I can’t wait to do my own line. It’s definitely something I want to do in the next year as I do have my own style.” I’m not sure if wearing underwear in public is considered having style, G. Keep reading »
