Ladies, look, we think it’s high time we stop snarking on each other and start supporting one another. To that end, we’ve developed an official Frisky Girl Code of Conduct, based on what we wish our friends, coworkers and female strangers might do to help us out. The Frisky Girl Code Of Conduct is also what we expect in return. Every woman needs to support other women in these ways: it’s just the right thing to do.
After the jump, we give you a list of things we pledge to do to make life better for all womankind. Keep reading »
We’re sick of all these so-called relationship experts telling ladies the way to snag a man is to keep it in your pants, er, skirt. Listen, you prisses, not only are we way too old to be virgins, but we sure as hell are glad we’re not! Holding out for some kind of commitment only makes a gal feel like her vag is her primary value, not herself. Lame! And what about our desires? Doesn’t that matter? Frankly, you have to test-drive some cars before you know which one you wanna buy, if you know what we mean. No matter what kind of sex you’re into, there are certain experiences we think every woman needs to have before she settles down. We won’t cover the absolute necessities like smoke detectors (duh); more like the items you need to transform the vibe of your place from “college dorm room” to “stylish young adult.” Read on for our top picks… Keep reading »
It happens to all of us. We get caught up in the daily routine and forget to think about our needs. Not just the financial ones, but the physical, emotional, and mental ones as well. When was the last time you headed in a bold and exciting direction unsure of what the outcome would be? What will be the greatest adventure of your life? Is it yet to come? Tell us in the comments!
Perfume may not be for everyone, but those of us who love it really love it. I have a hyper-sensitive sense of smell — I smell things before anyone else does, and I can often identify them instantly. I can smell a new perfume offhand and rattle off the most dominant notes in it. Many of my childhood memories are steeped in scent, so much so that whenever I catch a whiff of the Yves Saint Laurent Paris perfume my mother wore when I was small, I’m suddenly five years old again.
