Chadvelyn, LosOcho and OchoSado: those were the three hybrid names that I came up with for my favorite reality TV couple, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Evelyn Lozada. But after only six weeks of marriage, the beautiful sounds of wedded bliss and the hoopla surrounding their much anticipated reality show have been silenced by the head-butt that was heard around the world.

  • Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson has issued a public apology towards Evelyn Lozada, his bride of only six weeks. The NFL player was arrested for allegedly headbutting Lozada during a fight on Saturday night; he was subsequently dropped from the Miami Dolphins and yesterday Lozada filed for a divorce. In his statement he said, “I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death.   • Reality star Evelyn Lozada has filed for divorce from football player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson just six weeks after their wedding. Ochocinco allegedly headbutted his new wife this weekend during an argument and was arrested. Lozada released a statement saying domestic violence is “not okay.” Ochocinco was dropped from the Miami Dolphins following the incident; VH1 also pulled the couple’s reality show. TMZ looked into his court records and found that Ochocinco was arrested in 2000 for allegedly slapping an ex-girlfriend. [Uptown Magazine, Uptown Magazine]
