Plush Pillows For Your Dirty Pillows

Sure, Etsy is a great place to purchase Justin Bieber Unicorn Fan Art and ritual tunics with Celtic trim, but did you know you could also acquire a mighty fine set of boobies on the crafting site? That’s right: Etsy seller BoobsRUs fashions comfy, plush boob pillows to rest your own set of tatas on. At a mere $40 for a pair — with optional pink or brown nipples — these boobs are way cheaper than a set of implants and require NO recuperation time! [$40. Etsy] Keep reading »

Jewelry With Real Green Appeal

We eat plants and live with them in our homes, so why shouldn’t we wear them as well? This jewelry designer thought plants were perfectly fashionable, and created wearable planters — tiny, miniature planters worn on necklaces and brooches that can be filled with the sprout, a succulent, or a flower of your choice. The planters are made from 3D printers and can be painted any color you choose, too! What a way to create a movable garden of earthly delights. [$30, Etsy] Keep reading »

Flirting With Feathers

Confession: I totally had feather extensions put in my hair a few days ago. And then I had them taken out. Turns out my hair is so thick that the feathers get buried and become nearly invisible. I would need to glue an entire bird to my head in order to make any kind of a fashion statement. Since I’d rather not go that route, I’m thinking about alternatives, and I’m liking the look of this single-side feather earring. It’s very bohemian cool, and unlike those extensions, it doesn’t require pliers to remove it. Always a plus.

Just Your Type (Of T-Shirt)

Is this T-shirt simple? Yes. Straight to the point? Definitely. Delightfully specific? Of course. Curiously poetic? You betcha. Last question: Would you wear it? Us: resounding yes!

Beware Of Courtney Love, Etsy Sellers

Despite her alleged credit problems, Courtney Love has discovered a new way to rip retailers off: Etsy. Her favorite purchases on the online marketplace include a $450 vintage Hungarian wedding dress, assorted crystals, and a $58,000 George Harvey original painting. But surprise! She doesn’t pay vendors on time. Courtney recently posted a rather articulate (and misspelled) note on the site detailing the reasons behind her delinquent payments… Keep reading »

Never Lose Another Pen

I live in constant fear that one day I will open a kitchen drawer or a hall closet and every pencil, pen, and bobby pin I’ve ever lost will come tumbling out and I will die, because you guys, I lose a staggering number of writing utensils and bobby pins every day. For example, yesterday I very mindfully placed three new pens and five bobby pins in my purse. Today there are none. While I can’t say for sure that keeping a zippered pencil pouch in my purse would help remedy this problem, at the very least it would be cute.

Or just name it Penelope and keep it in your pocket for good luck. [$11, Etsy] Keep reading »
