Last night, towards the tail end of “The Bachelor” season finale (refer to the liveblog if you want the play-by-play), Tom Bergeron and former “Bachelor”/”DWTS” contestant Melissa Rycroft announced who would be shimmying when the show returns Mar. 22. Kate Gosselin! Pamela Anderson! That ESPN sportscaster who got peeped on in the nude (Erin Andrews)! That old guy from NASA (Buzz Aldrin)! Some football meathead with numbers in Spanish as his last name (Chad Ochocinco)! Plus, Evan Lysacek, Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh, y’all!), Niecy Nash, Nicole Scherzinger (from the Pussycat Dolls), Aiden Turner (some hot soap star), and, the final BIG ANNOUNCEMENT of the evening, “The Bachelor”‘s own Jake Pavelka. Seriously, I loathe “DWTS,” but even I may watch this season to see Pamela pop out of one of her costumes, Vienna sitting front row, and what they do to glam up Kate Gosselin’s hair. Six months after an uber-creepy stalker filmed her walking around her hotel room nakey and posted the videos on the interwebs, Erin Andrews faced the guy behind the camera in court. His name is Michael David Barrett and he’s a 47-year-old insurance agent from Illinois who never met Andrews in person, but somehow developed an obsession with her. He admitted in court that he tracked Andrews in three different cities, rigging the peepholes on her hotel room doors in order to be able to make the vids. Insanely, this offense only carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, though experts think Barrett will get more like two. Andrews is, of course, hoping for the maximum. “I have nightmares. I walk in crowds and I see him in my peripheral vision. When I’m alone in my house, I have fears that he’s going to walk inside and hurt me,” she said. “I don’t know him. I’ve never met him. Police have finally arrested the man who allegedly filmed nude videos of ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews through a peephole in a hotel room. He’s an insurance agent named Michael David Barrett, 47, from Westmont, Ill., who appears to have no direct connection to Andrews. Police have charged him with interstate stalking after allegedly taping videos of Andrews walking around hotel rooms naked, trying to sell the videos to TMZ, and then posting them online. Classy guy!

After months off the job following the whole some-creep-filming-her-nude-in-her-hotel-and-posting-the-voyeuristic-vid-on-the-internet thing, Erin Andrews returned to ESPN last night as a sideline commentator at the South Carolina vs. North Carolina State game. (Goooo Gamecocks!) Some critics are saying that her return was uneventful and boring, but, uh, what did they want her to do? Tap dance while saying, “I’m baaack! And this time with clothes on!” I gotta say that I think Andrews handled the situation like a champ. When the video exploded online, she stepped out of the public eye. Thankfully, ESPN stood behind her and threatened legal action against anyone who posted the video. Since then, she’s stayed mums on the topic. She did a photo shoot for the September issue of GQ, but while the magazine often has women take it all off for their images, Erin kept it classy posing with a group of football players. In one of the images, above, she’s suited-up, covered in mud, and sitting on a locker room bench. I think it’s a great commentary on who she is—one of the guys and, yet, not. The drama of Erin Andrews, the ESPN sports reporter filmed naked in a hotel room by a Peeping Tom, just keeps getting sicker. Gawker snagged a clip of Bill O’Reilly actually showing part of the nude video of Andrews on “The O’Reilly Factor” last night. They blurred out Andrews’ private parts, but still. Don’t harangue about how depraved and disturbing the Peeping Tom (who may have been a co-worker of Andrews’) and then show the clip yourself. It’s called hypocrisy.
