The Beastie Boys filed a lawsuit yesterday against girls’ toy company GoldieBlox for acting with “oppression, fraud and malice” over unauthorized use of the band’s song, “Girls,” in their popular commercial. The band insisted that they have never wanted to have their music to promote products and would not have approved GoldieBlox doing so.
