After seeing Jay-Z perform with wife Beyonce this weekend, I had two thoughts: 1) They can never break up, and 2) If the music industry has Jay and Beyonce as their modern power couple, who does Young Hollywood have? Who is the 2012 version of Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart? I mean, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, not to mention Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, have split — which famous pair is poised to take the super couple reigns and hold on for dear life? The obvious choice would be Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but I think we can all agree they are swimming in rough waters right now and can’t really be expected to do the job.
With that in mind, I decided to anoint the new guard of up-and-coming Hollywood super couples, celebs who are great alone but even stronger together. Keep reading »
So Emma Stone and her buddy were in Paris the other day, taking in the Musee Rodin and contemplating some art. Her friend was wearing a perfectly terrible outfit, but we’re going to focus on the positive, which is that Emma looks stunning (as usual). We especially like her charcoal grey jacket, with neat little leather detailing, and we’ve managed to find an affordable version of it, too. Check it out after the jump! Keep reading »
Just look at this trio of beauties sitting front row at the Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week! It’s like a style sandwich with Emma Stone filling, and damn, they’re all killing it. I love how each lady has a very different look: there’s Amanda in a fierce red pantsuit and super trendy purple lipstick, Emma in a structured black dress and red lips, and Dianna in a mod colorblocked ensemble. Flawless fashion, times three. [Getty Images]
Clever kids! Adorable couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were having lunch in New York City this weekend, when they discovered paparazzi were lying in wait outside. So they took advantage of the publicity and quickly made these signs which read:
“We just found out that there are paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in so… why not take this opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it? www.wwo.org and www.gildasclubnyc.org. Have A Great Day!”
WWO stands for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation and Gilda’s Club in a cancer charity. Props to them for their creativity — much better than a middle finger. (On a completely different note, is that L. Ron Hubbard on Andrew’s T-shirt or is Xenu playing tricks on me?)
“I was crawling on the floor. I remember throwing up. … I remember being on the floor … I have never felt anything quite like that. It was so visceral. It’s like someone has killed you and you have to live through it and watch it happen … It was awful.”
– Emma Stone recalls her first (vomit-inducing) heartbreak in a conversation with director Cameron Crowe in the latest issue of Interview. (Check out the awesome Mikael Jansson photos above!) Girl, I think we can all relate to that feeling. My first true heartbreak — when my fiance broke things off — left me bedridden, save for mandatory dog walks, for three days. The upside, I think, is though you may love others more in the future, the feeling of that first heartbreak is never repeated quite as acutely. Do you agree? How did you respond to your first heartbreak? [Interview]
