Emily Maynard Not Impressed By Bentley’s “Bachelorette” Bad Behavoir

Sociopath Bentley has managed to hijack Ashley Hebert‘s season of “The Bachelorette” so far. The reason he gave for being so miserable with Ashley? That he was hoping “The Bachelorette” would be Emily Maynard, the beautiful Southern belle who Brad Womack chose in the final episode last season. Well, now the woman of Bentley’s dreams has weighed in on his behavior in a video blog. “I’m not totally convinced that had the ‘Bachelorette’ been me, he wouldn’t have said, ‘Oh, I wish it was Ashley.’ He clearly had an agenda for being on the show and it wasn’t to fall in love,” Emily said. “What goes around, comes around. If I were Bentley, I would certainly be sleeping with one eye open.” True dat. [People]

But what if Emily was “The Bachelorette”? According to one tabloid, she may just have a shot … find out more, after the jump!

Is West Lee The New Emily Maynard? And Is “The Bachelor” Cashing In On Personal Tragedies?

The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” have long been known for casting types—the workaholic, the basketcase, the party heartier. But it looks like after last season, when Emily Maynard became a fan favorite because of the resilience she showed in talking about her fiance who died in a plane crash years before the show, it appears the franchise has a new type—the tragedian. For the second season in a row, the producers have cast a contestant with something deeper than a traumatizing breakup in their past—they’ve lost spouses in tragic accidents.

This season, that contestant is West Lee, who is currently vying for the love of Ashley Hebert. Keep reading »

We were just waiting for Emily Maynard to jump from “BachelorBrad Womack’s loveboat. His “I’m a perfect guy now” facade was crumbling by the second during the finale. What was her first hint? When he got angry at her for questioning that his desire to be a father to her daughter was enough? How dare she! Or was it when Brad’s brother warned her “not to poke the bear”? If there’s a bear within capable of being provoked, you best believe we’re not sticking around to make its acquaintance. We’re glad Emily decided very wisely not to walk down the aisle — at least for now. After the jump, some things a guy could say that would make us hightail it in the opposite direction. Brad And Emily, And Other “Bachelor” Couples Who Were Over Before “After The Final Rose” Even Aired

Last night’s season finale of “The Bachelor” was an incredible letdown. I felt pretty sure a few weeks back, when Brad Womack and Emily Maynard landed on their own private island and he broke into hives while trying to tell her how much he cared about her, that Emily would be his choice in the end. As expected, Brad let Chantal go in a burst of tears and then got down on one knee and slipped a big, glittering diamond on Emily’s finger. “I’ve wanted to tell you I’ve loved you for so long,” he said, before telling her she’s “the one.” Big duh.

But then came the “After the Final Rose” ceremony. Keep reading »

Is Next Week’s “Bachelor” NASCAR Date Grossly Off Track?

I’m just not sure what to make of this clip from next week’s episode of “The Bachelor.” In it, Brad Womack takes the woman on a group date to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for a NASCAR date. Midway through, he looks at Emily Maynard, the Southern blonde who has quickly become a fan favorite, and notes, “I’m realizing something’s really wrong with Emily.” Ya think, smart guy? Remember when she told you that she had been engaged to a NASCAR driver (Ricky Hendrick) who was killed in a plane crash in 2004, a week before she found out she was pregnant with his baby? Did it really not occur to you that going to a NASCAR track on a date might bring up some emotions? Keep reading »
