The second episode from this coming season is available early on the show’s Facebook page — and above. This episode — titled “One Moore Episode” — is chock full of awesome: “Battlestar Galactica”! True fact about me: I am kind of the biggest Pearl Jam fan in the world. Okay, maybe not the biggest, but pretty big. I’ve been to eight of their shows and once made a paper mache trash can with Stone Gossard’s face on it. Whatever. Anyway, the band is celebrating their 20th anniversary — which does not make me feel old in the slightest, nope, definitely not — and lead singer Eddie Vedder stopped by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to sing a funny protest song called “Balls in Your Mouth.” This proves I truly will listen to that man bellow anything. On Tuesday night, I went, by myself, all the way up to Harlem to watch Eddie Vedder perform solo. No one would come with me because of the distance and because, I suspect, they didn’t want to be seen with me, knowing I would act like a looney. And act like a looney I did! I was reminded why almost missing Pearl Jam in 1993 nearly sent me to suicide — because Eddie is just a phenomenal singer and performer. I even overlooked the fact that he appeared to be wearing white jeans, especially when he used a loop sampler to layer his own vocals to sound like a ridiculously awful but horny R&B slow jam.     I’ve been majorly crushing on Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder since I was 13, lived in San Diego, and made my mom drive past this house I swore he probably lived in when he was a resident of my fair city before becoming famous. Even though I’ve matured past doing drive-by’s (I don’t have a car, anyway), my love for the lusciously maned singer has not waned (ooh, rhyme!). Which is why I am seriously pissed that the tour he just announced in support of his solo effort, the soundtrack to Sean Penn’s Into The Wild, is only hitting the West Coast. Umm, Eddie, where is the love for the Midwest, South, and East Coast? Nevertheless, he is such an eternal Hot Piece of Ass, I had to celebrate him today and take this opportunity to let my bosses know I will be out of the office for a few days in April.
