We Could Wear A Tee Or Two From Designers Against AIDS

It takes a lot for us to be excited by clothes designed by celebs (we blame you, Jessica Simpson), but we could really get behind, not to mention inside, any one of these tees designed to raise money for HIV/AIDS prevention projects. H&M and Designers Against AIDS asked a bunch of celebs we love, like Dita Von Tees, Yoko Ono and Estelle, to create T-shirts for the second annual Fashion Against AIDS Collection. Twenty-five percent of the profits on each tee sold will go to charities that help curb the spread of HIV.

And, of course, you’ll spread the safe sex message by wearing one. Cyndi Lauper’s tee reads, “Girls Just Want To Have Safe Sex,” and Estelle’s says “Life Is Too Short — Have Safe Sex.” Even Yoko Ono chimed with an “Imagine Peace” tee, which doesn’t have anything to do with safe sex, really, but what the hell, she’s Yoko Ono. Get In Dita Von Teese’s Pants (Or At Least Her Bra)

If there was ever a time to ditch your Gap Body bras and underwear, it’s now. (Nothing against Gap underthings. They’re supremely comfy, but they lack in the ME-ow! department.) The ever-so-seductive Dita Von Teese has a new collection of vintage-inspired bras and underwear by Wonderbra and they are H-O-T. You want them.

The Grand Dame of Burlesque got it right. The line is a combination of 1950s shapes and 1940s fabrics and includes a mixture of suspenders, thongs, and bras that Von Teese says are so comfortable she wears them regularly. Now, I’m not advocating the suspender get-up for you r9-to-5 gig (unless work happens to be about shedding layers of clothing), but adding a little Von Teese sexy into your life has got to be a pretty cost-effective upgrade, especially in these economically grim times. Marilyn Manson misses his ex-wife Dita Von Teese. Um, DUH! It took you two years and one Evan Rachel Wood to realize how good you had it?! According to Dita:

“He’s been in touch a little. The apologies come, and he was like, ‘I made a big mistake’. And I’m like, ‘Yeah, yeah, I know. Go ahead and say what you need to say to feel better and to sleep at night.’ Right now I’ve got three (men). They’re all in different parts of the world… That’s my biggest sin — juggling men.”

Damn, girl, go on with your bad self! Ironically, Dita’s finally found a way to shock Marilyn Manson and we worship her for it! Dita Von Teese Strips And Sings

Burlesque star Dita Von Teese is working on an album. According to E! News, Von Teese said she signed a deal with Interscope Records in Europe and hopes to cover Irving Berlin’s song “Lazy.” It’s possible that her album might not ever get to the States because she currently only has a record deal in Europe, however, this bit of news got us wondering about what Von Teese’s singing voice is like, since her speaking voice is quite melodic. While searching YouTube for possible snippets of her singing, we happened upon the above clip, in which she tells Sharon Osbourne no one would want to hear her sing for even two minutes — not a good thing to say about your voice when you’re trying to sell a record.
