One of the things I had time to do over the Christmas break was read all the magazines sitting in a pile on my coffee table. The most life-changing tidbit was in Real Simple. It was about dishwashers.
I don’t have one right now, but when I lived with my boyfriend I did. And we both had strong opinions about how it should be operated (as I’m sure most of you do). As you might have guessed, our opinions were differing. I liked to do a lot of pre-rinsing before loading. He did not.
According to a survey conducted by Harris Interactive, we were not alone. About 40 percent of couples argue about the proper way to load the dishwasher.
