When I was growing up, my family had a tradition called “Noodle Night,” which involved my mom ordering every noodle dish on the menu from a local Thai restaurant while my brothers and I bounced around the living room screaming, “NOODLE NIGHT! NOODLE NIIIIIIGHT!” When the noodles arrived, we would dig into the to-go boxes like monsters, slurping and laughing madly while continuing to scream “NOODLE NIGHT!” with noodles hanging out of our mouths.
Now that I’m an adult, I still feel very strongly that noodles are something to get excited about. That’s why I rounded up 10 mouthwatering noodle recipes to help you cook up your own noodle night. Click through to check ‘em out…
I am shamelessly addicted to homemade veggie burgers for 3 reasons:
- They’re super easy to make. Some recipes are a little time-consuming, but they rarely require any technique more complicated than “mash all these things together in a bowl,” which is fun.
- They’re mega healthy. Veggie burgers can be made with anything from beans to quinoa to rice to lentils to cauliflower (or any combination of these things). They’re basically piles of veggies formed into patties. So good for you.
- The biggest reason of all? They are DELICIOUS. Seriously, it’s amazing how much flavor you can pack into these things. Served with melted cheese, a simple flavored mayo, and sweet potato fries, I could happily eat them every day of the week (and sometimes I do!).

As I mentioned in our “Foods That Make Us Angry” slideshow, it seems to be human nature to brag excessively whenever you make a pot of chili. As annoyed as it makes me to listen to someone talk for 15 minutes about the spicy 7-bean mixture they’ve got simmering on the stove, I try to be patient, because lord knows I’ve chili-bragged on numerous occasions, and you know what? Sometimes a chili brag is totally warranted. For example, in the case of these 10 chili recipes, all of which look delicious enough to brag about for daaaayyyyys.
