Oh cruel world, say it ain’t so. Rumor has it that LeAnn Rimes made a sex tape. No, I’m not talking about those grainy security cam videos that showed her smooching Eddie Cibrian when they were both supposedly happily married to other people. LeAnn allegedly made a sex tape with her ex-husband, Dean Sheremet. According to Star Magazine, the tape was found in a moving truck—which, what? But when Dean was asked about it, he said that it was in the realm of possibility that a tape had been unearthed. “Things like this happen!” he said. “We were married for eight years. We did a lot of s**t!”

Earlier today, we shared the news that Jessica Simpson is engaged after a whirlwind five months with football player Eric Johnson. Coincidentally, the announcement came just days after her ex-husband Nick Lachey said that he and Vanessa Minnillo are tying the knot. And now we have another suspiciously timed engagement. LeAnn Rimes’ Ex Denies That Age Was An Issue In Split

You know, I’ve long thought — along with the rest of the blogosphere — that Dean was, um, a friend of Dorothy, but the fact that he’s so miffed about their split (as opposed to it being something they decided on together) makes me think I was wrong.
