“What weirded me out the most last night was people were asking me all these questions about the gay sex scenes. I was like, ‘You know I did ‘Equus?’ … Some people are asking me questions like this is a more shocking subject, which is so strange … It’s interesting that it’s deemed shocking. For me, there’s something very strange about that because we see straight sex scenes all the time. We’ve seen gay sex scenes before. I don’t know why a gay sex scene should be any more shocking than a straight sex scene. Or both of them are equally un-shocking.”
–Daniel Radcliffe on being asked repeatedly about his gay sex scene in the Sundance film, “Kill Your Darlings,” where he plays poet Allen Ginsburg. I couldn’t have said it better myself. He’s right. It’s ridiculous. I don’t think any kind of on-screen sex scene is taboo at this point. I appreciate what a devoted ally Radcliffe is and I’m looking forward to seeing the film. [Celebitchy]
“This is way too much information, but I don’t like girls with nothing down there either. It freaks me out. You have to have something, otherwise it’s fucking creepy.”
– Daniel Radcliffe tells Heat magazine that he does not like a bald beaver. Luckily my bald beaver does not like Daniel Radcliffe, but I am always happy to hear about the pubic hair preferences of (guys who played) child wizards. Radcliffe, of course, bared his ample thatch (I just love that word) of pubic fuzz when he appeared nude in the play “Equus.” [Dlisted]

“I was actually quite pleased, and this is only going to add fuel to the fires of the rumor that I’m gay. I don’t really care, I’m sort of past the point of caring. … I looked fantastic in Fleur’s outfit! I think I looked really good. It was these sort of skin tight trousers, with a clingy top and a nice little cropped blue jacket on top. Really nice. … I was really pleased.”
—Daniel Radcliffe talks about his cross-dressing scene in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” where all the characters take a potion to make themselves look like Harry in order to fool Voldemort. In the trailer, Daniel was even wearing Fleur Delacour’s bra. Fun! Keep reading »
“When I was on the set with Daniel and Rupert, it was normally me who went to the guys with the questions about guys because I don’t pretend to understand the male gender. I’m just like, ‘What is going on here? What should I be doing? I don’t understand.’ So they’ve helped me out a bit and been like my protective big brothers.”
—Emma Watson tells Parade magazine that it was mighty handy to have Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint around on the set of the “Harry Potter” series. Wait, does this mean her boyfriend George Craig, of the band One Night Only, isn’t the perfect specimen we imagined? [People] Keep reading »
