Beauty Rewards Program Gives You A Reason To Shop At CVS

CVS has expanded its ExtraCare program to include beauty rewards, giving you a reason to shop there. (I say “a reason” because no matter where the CVS is or the time of day, I’ve always had to wait in an epic line to checkout.) Participants will get a 10 percent coupon for registering, a $5 ExtraBucks for every $50 spent, and a $3 ExtraBucks for their birthday. But coupons aren’t the only incentives for signing up for the beauty rewards program. You’ll also receive beauty tips, discounts for online shipping, invitations to exclusive in-store beauty events, access to products before they launch, and personalized beauty offers. Trying out a new look for spring is now more economical because CVS/Pharmacy has instituted “Spring Beauty Days,” a 20 percent off hair, makeup, fragrance, and skincare products sale that lasts through May. Burberry Brit for Women Eau De Toilette, one of my favorite scents, is on sale for $38.39; it’s usually $47.99. The new L’Oreal True Match Roller Makeup is $3 cheaper than its normal $14.99 price. And Covergirl Contouring Blush costs less than $5 now. Is it possible to c**k block safe sex? Yes, say public health advocates who are going after CVS for sometimes locking its condoms behind glass cases!

Advocates For Youth and CureCVS are rallying people based on the findings of a Change To Win study, which investigated CVS branches in five major metropolitan areas.
