This sloth in a onesie situation is just … it just … it needs to stop. These orphan sloths with mange are so adorable I kind of want to hurt them, in the same way some people (not me!) want to hug babies to death or punch sweet dogs in the face. It’s overwhelming! I could cry! Just, ugh, your helpless, alien-like little arms reaching out for comfort are making me want to die inside. [Buzzfeed]
These adorable little fluffernutters are a little bit cranky this morning. They’ve just been woken up by their owner, and would probably prefer to get another 12 hours of nap time in. These little British Shorthair kittens just wanna sleep, dammit, but since they’re up, would you mind getting them a bowl or three of milk? [The FW]
Today is not the best day. But it’s going to get better. That’s what I tell myself, and this clearly traumatized, but very cute, wet kitten. [Buzzfeed]
Humans aren’t the only ones who enjoy a good guffaw from time to time. Creatures from the Animal Kingdom are equally prone to a giggle fit under the right circumstances, and we’ve found 10 photos that prove that laughter is the best medicine — no matter your species of origin. Okay, okay, I know, you’re in love with me. You’re totally obsessed with me. You want to find the key to my heart. If you really want my undying love? Just show up at The Frisky offices with a backpack or child’s wagon full of these little guys and I’ll consider going out on a date with you. No takers? Ugh. Fine then. [YouTube]
If I had my way, I might change the name of The Frisky over to The Siku, so that we could cover polar bear baby Siku all the time. It would just be pictures and videos of his roly-poly belly, his tiny tongue and his sleeping little polar bear form all the time. But sadly, I don’t have overarching editorial control of TF, so you’ll just have to settle for this video from “The Today Show,” featuring the latest update on the abandoned polar bear. It seems he’s gained a whole five pounds while in captivity, and now weighs seven pounds! His favorite activities still seem to be napping and getting belly rubs, so otherwise not much has changed.
