A week out from Hurricane Sandy, the East Coast has been hit by a new storm — a snowy, slushy Nor’easter. Dear Mayan Prophecy, we get it! We get it! It’s with that in mind that I think all of us over in these here parts (and heck, just about everyone) would benefit frm adding a little yoga into their routines. No, not people yoga — personally, I find people yoga to be insanely boring — but pups doing the famous stretch for which a yoga move was named. So commencing henceforth: an assortment of dogs doing downward dog stretches!
Hey, a baby is still a baby — even if that baby happens to weigh a couple hundred pounds. This is Pakak, one of two orphaned baby walruses who are being cared for by the staff at the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, Alaska. Palak, and his brother Mitik were orphaned after becoming separated from their herd, and are apparently really, really into cuddling. Local reporter Kate O’Malley visited the siblings and found them super endearing. “They lumbered right over to me and photographer Marc Lester and smacked us with their velvety bowling ball heads. Then they started barking,” she wrote. “They sounded like a couple of smokers hacking into a megaphone.” Smokers hacking into a megaphone! Adorable!
Sadly, the two will be separated — off to the Indianapolis Zoo and the New York Aquarium, respectively. But for now, they can cuddle with the staff — and each other. Check out one more amazing pic after the jump. Keep reading »

Depending on your mood and romantic history, you’ll either find the love story of “Breaking Bad” actor Aaron Paul and his fiancee Lauren Parsekian to be hopelessly adorable or nauseatingly saccharine. During Paul’s Emmy acceptance speech Sunday night, he thanked his “beautiful, inspiring fiancée … Thank you so much for looking at me the way that you do, you truly saved me.” We love Aaron Paul, for obvious reasons, and Parsekian, who is ridiculously gorgeous, seems pretty cool, too — she’s the cofounder of the Kind Campaign, which works with abused and bullied young girls. There’s, like, a lot of love between these two, and they’ve documented it in interviews, photos and endless Twitter posts about one another. We’ve captured the most, um, intense Twitter exchanges between these two lovebirds for your enjoyment. You tell us — is it too cute or too much?
Spotted at New York Fashion Week: the inimitable Aila Wang, three-year-old niece of designer Alexander Wang and total future It girl. She’s only three, but Aila has her uncle’s trademark urban-chic on lock, not to mention a street style savvy that most aspiring fashionistas can only dream of. Nike kicks, black snakeskin, and a mini Chanel… um, Suri who? [World of Wonder]
Ignore the overwrought soundtrack to this little mini-movie, and instead focus on the amazing moves of 12-year-old Justin Beer, the pint-sized breakdancing master featured here. Beer’s got the chops to be a major breakdancing sensation — before he’s even out of middle school. [YouTube]
