Before I proceed to massage your throbbing ovaries with photos of adorable kids, let me explain what I mean by “big, serious” celebrity babies. “Big, serious baby” is a phrase Ami uses to describe babies who are not necessary large in size (although it helps) but have a weighty seriousness to their demeanor. Some babies are super giggly and smiley and then some babies look like they found out they owe $20,000 in back taxes or have just finished reading Angela’s Ashes. Personally, I think a big, serious baby is almost cuter than a smiley baby, but let’s face it, they’re all adorable and I’ll take one of each! So, here are some of Hollywood’s most big, serious babies, thinking big, serious thoughts.

I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard at a video of a baby crying in my life. Possibly I’ve never laughed at a video of a baby crying, since I don’t generally find sobbing infants all that amusing, but this baby … well, she has some very unique taste in lullabies, let’s put it that way!

Only one song by one rapper does the trick when this tiny girl gets the blues … apparently her parents did try other types of music to soothe the savage baby, but nothing had quite the same effect.

I guess that makes sense. I mean, the name of the song is “Hypnotize,” after all. Watch the video here…

Babies these days. They’re so different from when I was one. Moons ago, when I was a drooling, waddling blob of cuteness, if you handed me a magazine, well, truth be told, I probably would have tried to eat it. Today’s babies? They don’t eat magazines. They just think of them as nothing more than broken iPads.

What’s that sound? Your ovaries exploding. Behold Sloane, who is 4 months old, lives in New York City, and enjoys dressing up as a gnome. (I thought this was a boy, but Amelia says it’s a girl.) According to Ohdeedoh, Sloane appears to be part of an epidemic sweeping baby land in which cute babies are being dressed up as garden gnomes.
