My lashes are stick straight and blonde, and I wish I was fine with that, but instead I have dedicated a significant portion of my time on earth to making them appear long, dark, and luxuriously curly. It has caused me to hyperventilate in front of the Sephora employee who told me that the Shu Uemura eyelash curler would no longer be carried in US stores (don’t worry, it’s online), and it has caused me to burn my cheek with the metal edge of said eyelash curler after heating it up with a hairdryer in college.
