Taylor Swift fans don’t get any respect and I’m okay with that. It means that I’m willing to listen to this Tom Odell cover of “I Knew You Were Trouble,” sung as a ballad — instead of that faux dubstep weirdness — and Taylor haters are not.

Pop song covers that become group projects have so much potential for failure and douche-itude. (See: Bret Michaels and Miley Cyrus duet, “Every Rose Has Is Thorn.”) But this “Crazy” cover by Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on NBC’s new show, “The Voice,” is pretty damn hot. Covering songs is dangerous. You have to pick something obscure enough that a zillion people haven’t already done it, but recognizable enough that the audience will want to sing along.
