Courteney Cox And David Arquette Creating A Show About Their Relationship

Courteney Cox and David Arquette may have separated, but they sure seem to spend a lot of time together. Apparently, they are in the midst of creating a show together via their joint company, Coquette Productions. The show is called “10 Years” and is a sitcom that will explore “the ups and downs of relationships across a group of friends, spanning 10 years.” And two of the characters on the show will be loosely based on Courteney and David, who for the record were married for 11 years. Courteney would be a producer on the series while David could potentially star in it, too. Sure, this seems like a hard project for exes to do together—inevitably it will mean poking a bit of fun at each other, and being brutally honest about the negatives in their relationship—but I kind of like that these two would sign on for that undertaking together. Courteney Cox and David Arquette‘s relationship is confusing to us. It’s also apparently confusing to them—Courteney was not pleased when David hit on her during a platonic trip to Disneyland with their daughter. (Her response: “You don’t have the Fast Pass right now. Not to that ride!”) So the two did what any normal, conflicted pair would do—a joint session on Howard Stern‘s radio show yesterday. Courteney Cox appeared on David Letterman‘s couch last night, and the two chatted about her recent vacation to St. Barts. David took the opportunity to show some photos of Courteney strutting in a bikini. “You know when the paparazzi are there, so that’s real, but I was working it pretty hard,” said Courteney. “I sucked it in … My arms are stretched out. I don’t [normally] walk like that! It became a joke, like, alright let’s see how ‘Sports Illustrated’ we can get… I had a little nipple slip.” At which point, David whipped out a photo of Courteney’s wardrobe malfunction in the surf. “Wow, Dave, that’s not pixelated or anything!” Courteney responded. “I don’t know if we can show that,” replied Dave, and then did it anyway. But while doing that I shared too much. … It’s alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled. I’m sure Courteney and myself will emerge from this painful time better people from what we’ve learned. Thank you for all your love and support at this time. So, since his interview with Howard Stern yesterday, David Arquette has quickly been turning himself into a bad guy. In the interview, David said that his and Courteney Cox‘s marriage failed because she was sick of being his mom. He also revealed that it had been four months since they’d had sex. And then he hit even rock bottom, revealing that he’d had sex with “the girl in the paper,” aka Lindsay Lohan puncher Jasmine Waltz, “once, maybe twice.”
