Watch Jimmy Kimmel Ask Comic-Con Cosplayers About Their Sex Lives

"Have You Ever Had Sex In That Costume?"

You know you were wondering about it! Jimmy Kimmel sent a camera crew to Comic-Con to ask cosplayers — that is, people who wear costumes often based on characters from their favorite movies, comics and video games — whether they’ve ever had sex in their costumes. Can you guess who has and who hasn’t? [The Wrap]

Watch The Season 5 Trailer For “The Walking Dead”

Run, Rick, Run!

Considering it’s a post-apocalyptic show about a world overrun by zombies, it’s quite telling that the producers behind “The Walking Dead” say that season five is going to be “much darker.” The cast and crew debuted the upcoming season’s trailer at San Diego Comic-Con — as well as a premiere date of October 12 — saying that the first episode picks up right where season four left off, with the newly reunited group of survivors (minus Carol and Tyreese) facing a possible new enemy at Terminus. Are they cannibals, as has been implied? I guess we’ll have to watch to find out…

11 San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives I Must Have (Or Else I’ll Cry Nerd Tears)

As a nerd, I’ve collected a few things through the years. Some fans obsess over amassing an entire series of one particular thing, I just like what I like. So you can imagine when San Diego Comic-Con rolls around. While some of these SDCC exclusives might be offered online by the respective companies after the show, most won’t be, and that’s unfortunate considering I won’t be attending the convention this week. So here is my ultimate wish-list of SDCC exclusives. Here’s hoping I can convince a few friends to do me a solid. Read more on The Mary Sue…

We're totally craving Leslie Simon's book! Read More »

Once upon a time, I inadvertently started a cosplay race war on Tumblr. Whoops.

So, here’s the deal: I’m a cosplayer. If you don’t already know one of us in person, (and you probably do) (WE’RE EVERYWHERE) you’ve probably seen people like me on the news — all dolled up in a rainbow of face paint and eye popping wigs, 50 shades of spandex and skyscraper shoes, for the sake of expressing love for and bringing our favorite characters to life at sci-fi, comic book, video game and anime conventions.

Since I started cosplaying in 2008, I’ve traveled the country, hitting up as many cons as financially possible. all the while making incredible friends, unforgettable memories and lugging hard-to-get-through-airport-security props along the way. (Have you ever tried to fly with a dress made out of plastic bubbles? Fun fact — YOU CAN’T. But you can ship it to your hotel!)

Here’s the second deal: I’m also black. Which is fine by most everyone, until I have the audacity to cosplay a character who isn’t. Keep reading »

All Of Adrianne Curry’s Sexy & Nerdy Comic Con Costumes

I liked Adrianne Curry back when she won the first season of “America’s Next Top Model,” I liked her even more on “Surreal Life 4,” where she met her future (now ex) husband Christopher Knight (Bobby on “The Brady Bunch”), and I love, love, love her for letting her nerd flag fly at Comic Con. Every year, Adrianne, who still does a bit of modeling, shows up in costume to various Comic Cons around the country (including the one currently going down in San Diego). I love that she doesn’t pretend to be a precious celebrity (albeit a D-list one) and that she goes full-on cosplay. Let’s click through to ogle some of her greatest Comic Con looks.
