2. Be moderately attractive and thin. This should be easy enough assuming that step #1 works out and you’re subsequently introduced into the Hollywood diet and body image culture.
3. Create a stir by appearing topless in an advertisement when you are still a minor.
4. Score yourself a Vanity Fair profile to up your cultural credibility (so people will actually want to hire you). Make sure it features tasteful yet provocative photos à la Miley Cyrus to rouse more interest.
5. Partner with other famous people. Now Georgia Jagger is following in Kate Moss‘s footsteps by landing a Rimmel campaign, a job that’s boosted by the fact that Coco Rocha will be the second face. Models have finally caught on to this whole blogging thing—and, man, are they into it. Coco Rocha has her own blog, “Oh So Coco,” and just recently graduated to her own Twitter feed. Sessilee Lopez, not to be outdone, has a site where she talks about the “daily grind” that is being a model in NYC. Jezebel’s “Tatiana The Anonymous Model” (aka Jenna Sauers, outed as of July 21), will be writing a new blog for Jezebel as well as starting to re-update her own blog.

The 20-year-old, Toronto-born model, who once famously Irish stepdanced down Jean Paul Gaultier’s runway, offers a peek behind the scenes at days in the life of a fashion plate. She hopes a woman on the street who takes her photograph, sans makeup, has Photoshop, posts a video of herself dancing around while brushing her teeth, and reveals that Vogue had the exclusive rights to her new red hair, so she had to keep it under wraps until the January issue hit the newsstands.
