Man Accused Of Having Sex With Dog Cleared

A man in Aventura, Florida, was accused of sexually abusing his dog, but a judge dropped the charges. The dog’s name? Oh, CHRISTIE BRINKLEY. Armand Pacher was charged with abusing his Great Dane after a vet found signs of sexual abuse–and found human semen mixed in the dog’s urine. Pacher further ignited suspicions when he made a comment to a vet technician regarding the dog’s health. Pacher allegedly said: “She doesn’t seem to enjoy it as much when we have sex. Maybe it’s because I have not been as energetic lately, and that’s why she is not enjoying it as much.” He later insisted that it was just a joke. The case was dropped after prosecutors failed to find any physical evidence. The retired insurance investigator was reportedly relieved. “Although the prosecution has finally decided to say ‘just kidding, never mind,’ my life has been fully destroyed.” [Palm Beach Post News] Keep reading »

Disturbing Trend: Mother/Daughter Plastic Surgery

As we saw on “The Hills” this week, there is no way in hell that Heidi Montag‘s mom would’ve joined her on the operating table. But apparently, lots of mother/daughter pairs are getting plastic surgery together. Prime example, Christie Brinkley and daughter Alexa Ray Joel, the new Prell girl. Alexa checked in to have a nose job earlier this month and Christie checked in for (people think) a facelift the next day. A spokesperson for the family said, “Alexa had breathing difficulties due to a deviated septum and decided to correct the appearance of her nose at the same time. As far as Christie is concerned, she was at Lenox Hill to support her daughter, and throughout her career people have speculated that she’s done this or that, which she always chooses to take as a compliment.” Riiiiight. And her face just happens to look much younger now. [NY Post]

When songstress Alexa Ray Joel landed in the hospital after trying to OD on a handful of homeopathic pain pills in her NYC apartment, our hearts went out to her. Joel, 24, was apparently distraught over her breakup with band mate Jimmy Riot, 38, and swallowed the pills in a “cry for attention.” And no matter how famous your parents are—in Alexa’s case, Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley—breakups always make you feel like s**t. The good news is Joel is finding positive ways to work through her issues: She’s writing songs and she told New York Daily News she is at work on a project to teach “young girls with something I feel I know a great deal about: heartbreak-related depression.” Wait—what?
