Chris Noth Says Carrie Bradshaw Was “Such A Whore” And My Eyes Just Rolled Out Of My Damn Head

Rumors abound about the possibility of a third “Sex and the City” movie, so now Christ Noth (aka Mr. Big) is being interviewed and saying dumb shit. I can’t comment on Noth’s history of saying dumb shit in interviews because I don’t generally pay attention to “Sex and the City” news, but this interview excerpt is pretty notable:

“One of the things I tell people is that he never tried to pretend he was anything other than what he was. It was [Carrie] who tried to pretend he was something he wasn’t. He was always honest about himself — he never cheated on her. The relationship just didn’t work, and he went on to get married while she went on to … how many boyfriends did she have? She was such a whore! [laughs] There’s a misconception that Carrie was a victim of him, and that’s not the case — she was a strong, smart woman.”

“The first thing that went through my mind is, ‘Oh dear God, how are we going to film this?’ Then, ‘Oh God, my father’s going to watch the show’ … But I love it. I truly believe ["The Good Wife" co-creator Michelle King] is instigating a sexual revolt for network television. I think it’s brave, and I love to try things people haven’t tried before … I’m such a different person now than I was in my twenties … I had all these insecurities – about doing the right thing, about how people would perceive me. It stopped me from having fun, where now I feel comfortable with who I am, no matter who’s in the room … Now this is me, take it or leave it. … That’s the beauty of growing up.”

Julianna Margulies talks to More about her “Good Wife” oral sex scene with Chris Noth. I can’t tell whether it’s female or male oral that will be reenacted, but either way, it should be interesting. I would be particularly impressed if it were female oral. Here’s to the sexual revolution on network television! [People]

Chris Noth Blames Us For The End Of “Sex And The City”

“It’s over. The franchise is dead. The press killed it. It’s like all the critics got together and said, ‘This franchise must die.’ Because they all had the exact same review. It’s like they didn’t see the movie.”

—Chris Noth reveals that there won’t be a “Sex and the City 3″ since number two was received so poorly. He thinks a conspiracy is what caused the across-the-board bad reviews, but we have an alternate theory: The movie just really, really sucked. [NY Post]

Oprah’s Audience Goes Cuh-razy For The Cast Of Sex And The City

The cast of Sex and the City were on Oprah yesterday. It was so funny. The audience looked like a Crayola box vomited all over them, there was much, much, much screeching, and the ladies kind of played up their characters, with the possible exception of Cynthia Nixon, who really does seem over-the-moon in love with that girlfriend of hers. The cast talked about those much discussed “dream sequences” that they hyped during the filming to throw people off about the plot, but seemed to allude that maybe they weren’t so dreamy after all. The highlight for me, however, was when Chris Noth came out, because honestly? Drool. Keep reading »
