These Celine mink heels are from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection — and they are giving me the major creeps. Designed, apparently, out of Muppets the designers trapped and killed, these heels come in an array of blinding hues. Celine designer Phebe Philo doesn’t usually go so extremely, crazily wrong, but these heels are offensive for animal lovers, Muppet fans, and people with any sense of taste.

Between playing 70 shows a year in Las Vegas, raising three boys, and generally being a shining beacon of perfection, Celine Dion doesn’t really get out much. It’s rare to see her pop up in paparazzi shots, so I was delighted to find this photo of her out and about in Paris, looking amaaaazing. Her whole ensemble, from the Jil Sander cocoon coat to the skinny gray jeans, pointy toe pumps, and (fittingly) Celine tote bag, is tres chic. Also I have decided she was in the middle of serenading the crowd with “River Deep, Mountain High” when this picture was taken, which makes it even more awesome. [Photo: Splash News]
