Website Lets You Place Bets On The End Of Political Marriages

Don’t you wish you could place bets on which political couples are going to break up first? Well, now you can! I don’t really know anyone who gambles, but I feel like those people are probably not the same people who care about celebrity divorces. [Wrong! I care about both! -- Editor Amelia] But the website YouWager.com lets you put down your hard-earned cash in hopes that people like Sarah Palin and her husband whatshisface or Bill and Hilary Clinton will get divorced. And if you were already betting on Al and Tipper Gore, you might have walked away with a couple hundred bucks! The most interesting thing about the bets is that the less likely the couple is to get divorced, the more money you stand to win, and the folks at YouWager.com apparently think that George and Barbara Bush are $2,000 more likely to stay together than Michelle and Barack Obama … whom you’d only get $3,000 for your $100 bet if their marriage dissolved. What Should Spencer Pratt Do For Money Now That Heidi Montag Is Gone?

OK, so maybe we were a little quick to assume that Heidi Montag leaving Spencer Pratt was a lame publicity stunt. Apparently, Heidi has filed actual legal separation papers. This isn’t a divorce, but one big thing it does is make Heidi’s earnings her own. This is a big deal because “The Hills” is dunzo after this season, and Spencer just received his final check for the show. Meanwhile, Heidi has a while new spin-off show starting with Jen Bunney, and Spencer won’t make a thing for it. It’s hard to feel too bad for him because his “Hills” check is for a whopping $675,000, but sources say that that’s nothing to Spencer. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Spencer goes postal now,” a source said. “The way that kid blows through cash, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s broke by the end of July.” [Radar Online]

Apparently, one Sam leads to another, since Lindsay Lohan has a new man in her life — Sam Webb, a European Dolce & Gabbana model! A source managed to make Lindsay sound super desperate about the guy, saying, “She’s obsessed with Sam. She’s looking for projects that are based in England so she can be near him. She’s been talking about moving to England because of him. She’s fallen pretty hard for him and follows him wherever he goes. She loves that he’s part of the fashion scene and that he’s legitimate.” Lindsay attended Paris and Milan Fashion Week with her new arm candy. Not much is known about Sam, but because we’ll probably be seeing a lot more of him in the near future, we decided to snoop around the Webb to see what we might find.
