Miley Cyrus Rocks A Gay Marriage Tattoo

Sure, Miley Cyrus‘ new tattoo might be two very short lines, but the equal sign on her ring finger has big meaning. “ALL LOVE is equal,” she Tweeted, explaining that the tattoo is in support of gay marriage. When one of her followers expressed disapproval, she wrote, “Where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge honey. ‘GOD is love.’” Go Miley! Newsflash: Reese Witherspoon Apparently Has A Large Stomach Tattoo

It’s kind of hard to shock me. I mean, the video of the woman bathing on the subway got barely an eyebrow raise. But finding out that Reese Witherspoon has a tattoo — on her stomach! — made me gasp. Photographers captured a few different glimpses of the ink over the holiday weekend, as Reese and her family spent some time at the beach. I could maybe see Little Miss Goodie-Two-Shoes (and I say that affectionately) having a second shot of tequila and indulging her inner “bad girl” by getting a butterfly on her ankle or something, but a stomach tattoo? No offense to those of you who have ink in that area, but it is a rather daring spot, considering how susceptible to, uh, stretching it is. I mean, Reese has hinted she wants more kids — what will her tattoo look like at seven months pregnant? Jennifer Aniston Remembers Dog With A Tattoo — Would You?

Jennifer Aniston debuted her first tattoo this weekend, cursive script on the side of her foot spelling out “Norman.” Norman was Aniston’s dog who died in May at the age of 15. I think this is such a lovely tribute. I have long thought that eventually the only other ink I would get (besides the vaguely regrettable Chinese characters on my back) would be my dog Lucca’s name. I love her and want her with me always, just as Norman is now always walking with Jen. Okay, now I am tearing up. RIP Norman! Is a tattoo of a pet’s name something you would ever get? In Which I Analyze Ryan Gosling’s Weird Tattoo

Sometimes love means overlooking a person’s flaws. For example, I still love Ryan Gosling even though he wore a pajama shirt to the Cannes photocall for his film “Drive.” Obviously, that’s easier to do if I put my hand over the image to block his dress pants and shoes and then imagine he is laying in bed waiting for me. Anyway, back to the business at hand — what is the deal with that forearm tattoo? There are some hearts and some letters and then there’s that pointy thing in the middle — is that a head? With an angry face and the little thing at the bottom is maybe a tongue? I am confused. Again, sometimes love means overlooking things — like tattoos that look like they were doodled in the margins of a textbook by an angry teenager. Keep reading »
