Beyonce is not crazy in love with dad/manager Mathew Knowles right now. Why? Baby-daddy drama. A random woman, Alexsandra Wright, has crawled out of the woodwork and filed a paternity suit claiming to be six months preggers with Knowles’ baby. Jaid Barrymore, mama of Drew, was never going to win a Parent of the Year Award. She notoriously got Drew hooked on the party scene when she should have been in middle school, setting Drew up for two rehab stints before her 15th birthday. In the October issue of In Style magazine, Drew reveals that she still has a super rocky relationship with her mom. “I am okay with my dad, but my mom and I have yet to work it out,” she said. When Kourtney Kardashian first started gabbing about her unplanned pregnancy last week, it didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. I mean, her baby daddy is supposedly a cheater, so I’m surprised she didn’t want to keep things hush-hush. But then, I noticed the timing—she let the news drop within hours of the premiere of “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.” Then this mommy-to-be started scoring interviews and the internets filled up with info about her weight gain, boob size and pregnancy cravings. When she started talking about doing a maternity clothing line, suddenly I understood: Kourtney is using her fertility to become truly famous. One of her friends confirmed my suspicion saying, “She thinks the pregnancy will be great for raising her profile.” [Celebitchy]

It’s nice when big name celebrities make time in their high-profile lives to spend with their kids. Just take Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon. Susan recently joined her 24-year-old daughter, Eva Amurri, for some mother-daughter bonding time… pole dancing. Yup, Susan accompanied Eva to her daughter’s pole-dancing training for her stripper role in the third season of “Californication.” But Susan didn’t let Eva go at it alone. While I’m sure Susan’s mommy-daughter strip outing was a well-intentioned and admittedly a funny one-time event, there are a few other parent-child bonding moments we’re not so sure we can approve of.

In the celebiverse, there are an awful lot of parent/kid pairs who look like twins.
