4 Most Horrifying Marriages Between Fans And Their Idols

Being a fan is a difficult thing. You’ll find a musician or an actor or (more often than not) an Internet writer whose work you really respond to and suddenly feelings of creative or professional admiration turn into feelings of love and attraction. For some fans, the line between “I really appreciate the art you make” and “I guess I’m probably in love with you” gets blurry, and that can be dangerous if the object of your fandom isn’t all he’s cracked up to be. Or if he’s Elvis. Read more at Cracked…

Sad Bieber Fist Bump!
"Well, that makes two of us."

During Selena Gomez’s appearance on “The Late Show With David Letterman” last night, the topic of Selena’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber inevitably came up. Letterman’s Bieber hate is well-documented, and he mentioned the brutal interview last year during which he’d made Bieber cry. As the audience laughed, Gomez paused for a second and then said, “Well then, that makes two of us.” A triumphant fist bump ensued, and a “We Made The Biebs Cry” club was officially formed. Hopefully Selena has put extra security in place today, because the Beliebers are not going to like this. [YouTube via Opposing Views]

– Colin Farrell tells Details about what he’s learned from his tumultuous love life, which has included a four-month marriage, a sex tape with a Playboy model, and most recently, a 2010 split from actress Alicja Bachleda, mother of his 3-year-old son. Gwen Stefani On Wearing Makeup For Her Husband

What's up with people wearing makeup to the gym? Read More »

“I’ve always been a girl who loves to dress up. I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you … I like to make my husband like me more, and he likes it when I’m wearing makeup.”

–Gwen Stefani makes the surprising admission to Harper’s Bazaar that her husband Gavin Rossdale actually prefers it when she wears makeup. Pretty much every guy I’ve ever known has belonged to the “less is more” camp when it comes to makeup, but I’d love to hear from readers on this one: do you wear makeup for the benefit of your significant other? Do they like it when you wear makeup? I definitely like feeling put together for my boyfriend, which, for me, includes a bit of makeup, but I shudder at the idea that some concealer and a swipe of mascara would make my partner “like me more.” [Harper’s Bazaar]
