Carl’s Jr is currently testing a new product called the “Ice Cream Brrrger,” which is, well, exactly what it sounds like: a burger made of ice cream. We’re a little creeped out by the beefy texture of the ice cream and the dripping frosting condiments, but in the grand scheme of freaky fast foods, this ice cream/burger blend is actually pretty innocuous. Carl’s Jr. Goes Self-Referential In New Olivia Munn Spot

Carl’s Jr. has decided to take a different approach for their new ad campaign, rather than their usual hot girl in bikini sexily chomps on an oversized hamburger fare. Well, kind of. In this new spot, Carl’s Jr. employees state their beliefs about burgers. Things start off non-sexy, but then cue the butt shot of a model with a burger in her hand. “We believe in putting hot models in our commercials because ugly ones don’t sell burgers,” a faux employee says. Next, another one explains, “We believe in celebrity endorsements because we like to hang out with celebrities and ride water motorcycles.” Cut to Olivia Munn in a string bikini on a waterski next to Kareem Abdul Jabar. Among what I’m sure are the many honors of Miss Turkey Gizem Memiç, the face of Carl’s Jr.’s turkey burger is surely on top. In Carl’s Jr.’s latest commercial, Miss Turkey shills for the fast food joint’s turkey burgers in stiletto heels, a pageant sash and a custom-made bikini with little turkey burgers printed on it. While Carl’s Jr. commercials are always gratuitously frat-tastic — boobs! fried meat! blowjob imagery! — I have to admit that bikini is pretty awesome. Hungry? Audrina Patridge of “The Hills” must be, cause that girl is skinnnnnny. And you know what people whose fame depends on them being thin do when they get hungry? They go to Carl’s Jr. for a Teriyaki Six Dollar Burger! Wait, that can’t be right…I heard they ate Styrofoam and pretended cigarettes were an all-you-can-eat buffet of smoke? Either way, Audrina donned a tiny gold bikini in Malibu for the latest Carl’s Jr. ad. She was psyched. “I had an absolute blast shooting,” she told People. “When I pulled up, I was literally salivating looking at all the rows and rows of perfect burgers waiting for me!” You’d be salivating too if you hadn’t eaten since high school.
