Quel horreur! Video has surfaced of Carla Bruni giving an X-rated interview about Hot! International, two sexy travel guides for the guy or gal who wants to get laid on the go. At the time of her 1996 “Eurotrash” appearance, Bruni was a supermodel and musician known for her numerous affaires. These days she is the decidedly more staid wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Oops! No, it won’t get more awkward than knowing the head of state’s wife went on a klassy low-budget TV show and said, “Do you like my titties?” in Spanish. (Which she explained is a “very good” phrase to know “for Spain and Latin countries.”) Between this video and Bruni’s naked boobie pics, I foresee awkward dinner table chitchat for Michelle Obama ahead. Randy, across the pond rumor alert! A new tell-all book alleges that French First Lady Carla Bruni told Michelle Obama that she and French President Nicolas Sarkozy once kept a “senior Head of State”waiting because they were busy shagging. Many people suspect that super important person was actually the Queen of England. Oh no, she didn’t! But that makes us wonder — if Bruni only told MObama this sexy tidbit, how did writer Jonathan Alter find out? Has Michelle been gossiping?! [The Sun] Keep reading »
Oh la la … French first lady Carla Bruni has stirred up a bit of controversy after she went visibly braless to a state dinner. Clearly, there are certain outfits that just don’t allow for a bra, or require some extremely crafty lingerie, but Bruni’s choice—a simple Roland Mouret dress, a long-sleeved number with a high neckline—didn’t exactly fall into that category.
Is the problem here that she’s “too old” to be going braless? Or is it an issue because she’s associated with a political figure? Have these critics forgotten that some of the most famous photographs of Carla are her nude photo shoots? What do you think—does it matter who and how old you are to clearly go commando up top? We’ve gotten used to seeing Scarlett Johansson play the beautiful femme fatale in recent Woody Allen movies. In his newest film, set to begin production next year, we’ll see another familiar face in that role: First Lady of France, Carla Bruni. On a trip to Paris earlier this year, the legendary filmmaker offered Bruni a leading role in his film and she is said to have accepted his offer. Bruni has limited acting experience, something that doesn’t seem to make neurotic Woody nervous. Last June he told Spanish paper El Mundo: “I would like to work with Carla Bruni. She is an accomplished artist, she is very beautiful and I am sure she would have a gift for comedy. I am sure she would be marvelous. She has charisma and is used to appearing in public.” Keep reading »
During the Obamas’ weekend trip to France, Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the two most stylish first ladies we know, got to hang out for the second time. The two don’t seem to want to outdo one another in the style department, and I have a hunch they coordinate their outfits when they make public appearances together. On their first meeting, both wore tie-neck coats (left). On Friday, they appeared at a ceremony at the Prefecture of Caen in belted white dresses. Coincidence? I think not. Keep reading »
There’s something about Carla Bruni that is a bit robot-like—how she’s always cool and collected, how she never seems to age. The only thing we could attribute her puzzling aura to was her Frenchness. But it seems there’s more to it. The first lady keeps her visage glowing and wrinkle-free by regularly downing a “Biooster Grog”—a beauty cocktail offered by the Hôtel Gabriel in Paris. (The world’s first “detox” hotel, the place includes such amenities as illuminated wallpaper, customizable lighting and music patterns to aid sleep, and a bevy of detox teas.) Bruni’s regular beverage improves complexion through a blend of oranges and purifying herbs. Where can we get us some? [W Magazine]

What’s better than the real Carla Bruni, dressed head-to-toe in Dior, as the first lady of France? Carla Bruni, 16 by 24-feet tall, dressed head-to-toe in nothing, as the subject of a 1994 nude portrait by American photographer Pamela Hansen.
Called “Carla Bruni in Bed,” the photo is, not surprisingly, an image of Bruni, well, in bed. But we’re not talking about the sort of “in bed” that you and I practice, complete with rumpled pajamas, day-old makeup and quite possibly a dirty sock static-clinging to the sheets. We’re talking mid-’90s-supermodel-dating-Mick-Jagger-at-the-time “in bed.” It’s totally different. And totally hot. Keep reading »
Carla Bruni has flipped more than her hair. A computer containing private photos of France’s First Lady has been stolen. Apparently, the pics are from the oh-so-sexy years she spent with her baby daddy, philosopher Raphael Enthoven. Other hot shots of the former supermodel/singer have surfaced from that period, and there were plenty of nudies. So, it’s no wonder Carla and hubby French President Nicholas Sarkozy are on pins and needles over the whereabouts of that purloined PC containing even more secret pics. What could be in those precious snapshots? We Frisky gals have a couple ideas. Keep reading »
