I don’t know what it is about a cape that looks so sophisticated, but every time I put one on I feel like some classy winter minx who wears leather gloves and saunters around the Met every weekend. Freezing in winter weather doesn’t have to be all miserable, right? Capes make outerwear a bit more fun — and maybe even make you feel like you can fly like some tweed-covered superhero.
