- John Edwards denied a report yesterday that in 2007 he hired a prostitute working for Anna Gristina, a New York City madam recently busted by investigators. A news site called DNAinfo claims one of Gristina’s call girls had sex with a man she believed to be John Edwards at an Upper East Side hotel. Edwards’ lawyers say this is false and demanded a retraction of the story. Whatever the truth is, I don’t think most people take John Edwards at his word anymore. [Politico]
