I hate football, mostly because I don’t understand it, and I think it’s at once smarter and dumber than me. But all that’s about to change, because the new love of my life is Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe, and I’m intent to prove my love to him. You see, last week Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo spoke out in favor of gay marriage. That raised the ire of Maryland politician Emmet C. Burns, who wrote a strongly-worded letter to the owner of the Baltimore Ravens, insisting that Ayanbadejo be prohibited from speaking his views. That didn’t sit well with Kluwe, so he posted an open letter to Burns, in which he warns that “you may want to hire an intern to help you with the longer words.” After the jump, Kluwe’s full, amazing and hilarious letter.
