MTV’s “Buckwild” Reality Show Rebooted, Heads To Alaska

  • MTV is bringing back their reality show “Buckwild,” only this time it’ll be set in Wasilla, Alaska — AKA Sarah Palin’s hometown. “Buckwild” was originally canceled after cast member Shain Gandee died suddenly in an accident. [TMZ]

“Buckwild”‘s Shain Gandee Found Dead

Was Shain Gandee murdered – was the young man a victim of the foul play and violence that surrounds drug dealing? I don’t pretend to know a whole lot about everything but when three people are found dead in a vehicle off-road it’s likely no mere accident. We just learned a little while ago that it’s a sad ending for MTV’s ”Buckwild” star, Shain Gandee. He and two others were found dead in a vehicle in West Virginia just shortly after police issued a press release announcing that he had officially been reported missing.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office in West Virginia the reality star and his uncle, David Gandee were last seen at a Sissonville bar where they told people that they planned on going four-wheeling. They didn’t give anyone at the bar any details on where they were planning to ride and they hadn’t been seen or heard from since then. Read more…

10 New Completely Ridiculous Reality TV Series

Reality TV is notorious for exploiting people’s prejudices. Whether that be cultural stereotypes about people of color, teenagers, people who live in certain parts of the countries or women – reality TV loves to sink to the lowest of the lows. Unfortunately, watching them is just about everyone’s guilty pleasure (including my own). The more ridiculous the better usually and if the people are old enough and cognizant enough to recognize what’s happening then I guess it can’t be so bad. This year is bring us a slew of terribly-terrific reality TV. From “Fat Girl Revenge,” a show about formerly large women seeking vengeance on their haters, to “All My Baby’s Mamas,” a show about Shawty Lo and the 10 women who birthed his 11 children. 2013, guys, it’s going to be a good year. Read more…
