“Game Of Thrones,” “Breaking Bad” & “Homeland”-Inspired Baby Names Are On The Rise — But Where’s Saul?!

"Game Of Thrones," "Breaking Bad" & "Homeland"-Inspired Baby Names Are On The Rise -- But Where's Saul?!

Parents have long taken inspiration for their child’s name from pop culture. For the last few years, “Twilight”-inspired names like Bella/Isabella and Edward have been huge, as have names borrowed from famous tots like Mason (Kourtney Kardashian’s son). But the names on the rise this year are mostly inspired by characters on the small screen, specifically grim and violent dramas like “Game of Thrones,” “Breaking Bad” and “Homeland.” Keep reading »

Watch Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul Learn The Fates Of Their “Breaking Bad” Characters

Watch Bryan Cranston & Aaron Paul Learn The Fates Of Their "Breaking Bad" Characters
Mouths Agape!

Months before “Breaking Bad” fans lost their shit after finally learning about the fates of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the series finale, their portrayers, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, read the script for “Felina” for the first time. And a camera was there to capture their reactions as they read the script aloud. I love being able to see Cranston and Paul process the information they’ve just read; the realization that Jesse makes it out alive, and that Walt doesn’t. And the bits of scene description/non-dialogue are fabulous too: “That big M-60 has been placed in there sideways, mounted atop the rig Walt built. It rattles away, sweeping back and forth like Satan’s windshield wiper.” Genius. [via Gawker]

Snooki & JWoww Dress Up As Other Famous Duos

Snooki & JWoww Dress Up As Other Famous Duos

Props to Buzzfeed for having the clever idea to dress “Jersey Shore” alums Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley as other famous TV duos, including Jesse Pinkman and Walter White from “Breaking Bad” (above) and Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor from “90210″ (after the jump). But what’s up with Snooki’s facial hair? Jesse never rocked a porn ‘stache! [Buzzfeed] Keep reading »

Alternate “Breaking Bad” Ending Has “Malcolm In The Middle”‘s Hal Waking Up From A Very Bad Dream…

Alternate "Breaking Bad" Ending Has "Malcolm In The Middle"'s Hal Waking Up From A Very Bad Dream...
It Was All A Dream?!

Leading up to the finale of “Breaking Bad,” many critics and fans of the show put forward their theories about how the show would end. One joking suggestion I read more than a few times involved Bryan Cranston’s Walter White assuming a new identity as Hal, the dad from “Malcolm in the Middle” (portrayed by Cranston, of course), or Hal waking up in bed next to his wife Lois, with the entirety of “Breaking Bad” having been a very odd, bad dream. Well, lo and behold, the creators of “Breaking Bad” apparently saw the hilarity in a BB/Malcolm crossover, because they included this alternate ending on the upcoming complete series DVD box set. “There was a guy who never spoke … he just rang a bell the whole time!” [NYMag.com]

"Breaking Bad" On Ice Need To Be A Real Thing
Triple Axel, Bitch!

“Breaking Bad” ended a month ago, but the show continues to inspire brilliance in those it touched. Like Sharidan Williams-Sotelo, an assistant editor for the AMC hit, who created this incredible ice skating parody called “Breaking Ice.” I need this to be a real thing that I can attend in person. Maybe Jeffrey Katzenberg would be willing to use his millions to turn this into a real traveling ice show, since “BB” producers turned down his offer to make more episodes… [AMC TV]

Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston Both Got “Breaking Bad” Tattoos When The Show Wrapped

Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston Both Got "Breaking Bad" Tattoos When The Show Wrapped

“Breaking Bad” may be over, but our obsession with one of the greatest shows of all time has not — and that’s true for the cast and crew as well. The show’s camera operator Andy Voegeli tweeted a bunch of photos he took over the course of filming the five seasons, including the two snaps above of the “Breaking Bad”-inspired tattoos that Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston got. Paul’s ink, which says “No Half Measures” in cursive, is the name of a classic episode from season three (and a reference to a classic moment between Mike Ehrmantraut and Walter White). Cranston’s tat is, of course, the show’s logo, albeit very tiny. Check out a few more of Voegeli’s shots after the jump! Keep reading »
