Kristen Stewart On Wedding Dress Shopping

“I haven’t put the one on yet. It’s such a big decision. I have a little hand in having a decision–or having an opinion more–but I think it’s pretty much up to Stephenie. I’m not quite sure exactly what it’s going to look like, but it will be beautiful, I’m sure.”

What Would Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson’s Kid Look Like?

It’s the question Twihards can’t stop thinking about as they drift off to sleep at night. If Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, err, Bella and Edward, were to breed—what would their baby look like? Well, casting directors are trying to figure that out as we speak, as they audition young actresses for the role of Renesmee in “Breaking Dawn.” Rumor has it that 9-year-old Mackenzie Foy may be the lucky lady and is closing to signing a deal. She looks like a pretty believable combo of the two to me. What do you think? [NY Daily News] Keep reading »

Quotable: Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg Majorly Spoils Key Moment In “Breaking Dawn”

“The childbirth—all the scenes, I feel—should be on screen. Would we actually see Edward’s teeth through the placenta? I don’t think so. I don’t think we need to see that.”

—Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter behind all three “Twilight” flicks, talks about how they plan to take out a few gory details from the childbirth scene in “Breaking Dawn.” Now, I know I’m the only person on the planet who hasn’t read the book—but thanks for ruining it, Melissa. [People]

Quotable: Bill Condon Breaks Dawn With A Letter To “Twilight” Fans

“Greetings Twihards, Twifans, Twilight Moms, Team Edward, Team Jacob, and Team Switzerland,

I’m stoked to be getting underway on the adventure of making ‘Breaking Dawn.’ I’m pretty busy bringing myself up to speed on what you already know by heart: I’ve read ‘Breaking Dawn’ twice, rewatched Catherine’s and Chris’s movies 2-3 times each, have all four CDs playing in my car, and have Catherine’s notebook, Mark Cotta Vaz’s companion books, and even Volume 1 of the graphic novel here on my desk—a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic … A guy’s gotta start somewhere … Please feel free to ask questions in the comments section below, and I’ll do my best to answer them. P.S. Answer #1: No, there won’t be any musical numbers.”

Shun, Shag, Or Marry: The Possible Directors For “Breaking Dawn”

The final “Twilight ” movie, “Breaking Dawn,” is still in the beginning stages. But Summit is considering three big-deal directors to take it on—Sofia Coppola (“Lost in Translation”), Gus Van Sant (“Milk”), and Bill Condon (“Dreamgirls”). No decision will be made until the directors have a chance to read an outline of the screenplay. It’s interesting to imagine how each of these Hollywood heavyweights would handle the vampy love and (eek!) Bella’s birthing scene. And because we can’t keep our opinions to ourselves, we just have to tell you which directors we’d shun, shug, or marry. [EW] Keep reading »

Do “Twilight” Fans Get Flak Because They’re (Mostly) Girls?

Another day, another Twilight headline. Today, Prospect.org has an interesting article in which writer Sady Doyle (who defended Megan Fox on The Frisky) points out how books in Stephenie Meyer‘s Twilight series are a smash hit (Breaking Dawn, for example, sold 1.3 million copies on its first day), but they get a hell of a lot of flak from … well, everybody.
