According to the Moscow Times, “President Vladimir Putin’s crusade to raise the country’s birth rate is set to get the support of three powerful voices on its behalf.” You see, Putin believes that the key to regaining Russian super power status is to get the birthrate up. He wants everybody in Russia to make at least three babies, and in 2007 he declared an official “Day of Conception” (which will be preettttty awkward at the hospital nine months later). Yes, you read the headline right. No, this is not a drill. Yes, this is real life. No, you’re not dreaming. Three of the most amazing boy bands of yesteryear are joining forces for a summer tour. On yesterday’s episode of the “The View,” the New Kids On The Block made the bombshell announcement that they’ll be touring with fellow dreamy, aging crooners 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. Is this a government experiment to see how much nostalgia the average 30-year-old woman can endure before spontaneously combusting? Most likely.
