Arcade Fire has been treating fans to new covers on every stop of their Reflektor tour, with songs chosen specifically for each city. What did they play in Philadelphia? Why, the Boyz II Men classic, “Motownphilly,” obviously! I’ve watched this video like 6 times and I still can’t decide if their rendition is amazing or cringe-worthy. My boyfriend, the world’s #1 Boyz II Men fan, insists it’s a travesty. Let me know your vote in the comments! [Rolling Stone]

There were engagements, acts of sisterly love and even mastery of the karaoke arts – and the classic R&B group played a key role in all of them.

He wants everybody in Russia to make at least three babies, and in 2007 he declared an official “Day of Conception” (which will be preettttty awkward at the hospital nine months later). Yes, you read the headline right. No, this is not a drill. Yes, this is real life. No, you’re not dreaming. Three of the most amazing boy bands of yesteryear are joining forces for a summer tour. On yesterday’s episode of the “The View,” the New Kids On The Block made the bombshell announcement that they’ll be touring with fellow dreamy, aging crooners 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. Is this a government experiment to see how much nostalgia the average 30-year-old woman can endure before spontaneously combusting? Most likely. But still, I’ll definitely be in the crowd, screaming my head off and singing along to “Because Of You,” “The Right Stuff,” and “Motownphilly.” Will you? Check out the tourdates after the jump!
