Blind Designer To Premiere Collection For Charity

When we think about fashion, we invariably think of the visuals: the look of a dress, the height of a heel, the color of a fabric. But for blind designer Sergey Ermakov, fashion means working with every sense but sight. This Friday, Ermakov will debut over 30 of his original designs at a fundraiser for The American Foundation for the Blind, in Dallas. The designer has been losing his sight since he was 11 years old, and while he still tries to sketch his creations for his assistants, he relies on expressing his ideas verbally.
