Bill O’Reilly: “Many Women Who Get Pregnant Are Blasted Out Of Their Minds When They Have Sex”

Birth control should not be covered without co-pays as part of preventative health care, Bill O’Reilly says, because “many women who get pregnant are blasted out of their minds when they have sex, [so] they’re not going to use birth control anyway.” He introduces this Fox News segment while talking about pot and booze and says covering the Pill would cost four billion dollars a year (um, can I get a source on that?) and suggests improving access to birth control will “maybe” cut back on the number of abortions, foster care, and people on welfare.

First of all, WHAT? Second of all, WHAT WHAT WHAT? Keep reading »

Today’s Lady News: Bill O’Reilly Sees No Media “Gender Bias” Against Sarah Palin

  • Bill O’Reilly said on “The O’Reilly Factor” last Thursday that he did not see any gender bias in the media’s coverage of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann. Palin herself has said the media’s treatment of her has been sexist at times. You know, this actually makes me feel a little bad for these two women: it must suck to have a man from your side of the aisle be dismissive of the B.S. you go through. [Daily Caller]
  • Rep. Gabrielle Giffords may be out of the hospital on Friday, her husband has said. Her next stop will be a rehabilitation center in Texas to overcome injuries from the gunshot wound to the head she sustained during the mass shooting in Tucson, Arizona, two weeks ago. We wish her a swift recovery. [MSNBC]
  • George Bronk, 23, of California, has plead guilty to breaking into 3,200 women’s email accounts and searching for nude photos of them, which he then posted to the Internet. Bronk allegedly read Facebook profiles looking for answers to Yahoo’s standard security questions. He was able to find nude or semi-nude photos from 172 women. Creeps: they walk among us. [PC World]

Sarah Palin Calls Herself A Feminist, Promptly Renounces Feminism

Colbert Tells “The View” To Leave “Papa Bear” Alone

The women of “The View” definitely learned one thing from Stephen Colbert‘s visit yesterday: Don’t mess with Papa Bear. That’s Colbert’s nickname for Bill O’Reilly. In a show of solidarity with O’Reilly, Colbert pretended to walk off the set of “The View” yesterday during his segment. Colbert’s gesture was in reference to O’Reilly’s controversial “View” visit last week, where both Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar walked off set in the midst of O’Reilly’s interview. 5 Things To Know About Christine O’Donnell

When did conservative female political candidates who make bombastic statements become so chic? First there was Sarah Palin, then Michele Bachmann, and now Tea Party candidate Christine O’Donnell is the toast of Delaware’s Senate race. For the love of vaginas, Victoria Woodhull, Shirley Chisholm and Geraldine Ferraro did not smash through the glass ceiling so that their successors could clog up the 24/7 news cycle with their anti-sex, anti-woman views.

Frankly, Christine O’Donnell’s declaration on the MTV series “Sex In the ’90s” that masturbation is a sin is all the crazy I need to know to make my assessment about her. But in case you and your lustful heart want to give O’Donnell a chance, here are five things to know about her. And you know you want to know how Mel Gibson is involved. Keep reading »

Today’s Lady News: Jennifer Aniston Glamorizes Single Motherhood, Says Bill O’Reilly

  • Do you know who is the most raging feminist ever to encourage women to leave their husbands, kill their babies and practice witchcraft? Jennifer Aniston. Comments she made about women not needing men to become parents while promoting her new movie “The Switch” (plot: she is 41, single and gets pregnant via a sperm donor) are apparently glamorizing single motherhood for the 12-year-old girls at home. This is an outrage, says Bill O’Reilly and his guest, Gretchen Carlson, who had no idea Aniston was once married to Brad Pitt. [Gawker]
  • An anti-abortion billboard alleging to depict an aborted fetus went up last week in Midland, Texas, across from a Planned Parenthood clinic. “Of course we have freedom of speech, but it’s another form of intimidation,” said a Planned Parenthood rep. [NewsWest9.com]
  • Dr. Martin Luther King’s niece, Dr. Alveda King, addressed an anti-gay marriage rally last weekend and said same-sex marriage will lead to “extinction” and “genocide.” [Black Voices]

Bill O’Reilly Shows Clip Of Erin Andrews Nude Video On His Show

The drama of Erin Andrews, the ESPN sports reporter filmed naked in a hotel room by a Peeping Tom, just keeps getting sicker. Gawker snagged a clip of Bill O’Reilly actually showing part of the nude video of Andrews on “The O’Reilly Factor” last night. They blurred out Andrews’ private parts, but still. Don’t harangue about how depraved and disturbing the Peeping Tom (who may have been a co-worker of Andrews’) and then show the clip yourself. It’s called hypocrisy.

The Ickiest Sex Scandal Quotes Ever

The best part of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford admitting he’s been having an affair – with tax payer dollars, no less! – with a mysterious woman named “Maria”? The fact that some of the love letters he sent her have been released! It is true poetry, peoples. Ahem…

”You have a level of sophistication that so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificent gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curve of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of the night’s light — but hey, that would be going into sexual details…”

Oh please, do continue!

”In the meantime please sleep soundly knowing that despite the best efforts of my head my heart cries out for you, your voice, your body, the touch of your lips, the touch of your finger tips and an even deeper connection to your soul.”

Yowza! That’s, uh, sexy stuff. But how does it compare to the words exchanged during other famous sex scandals? Let’s take a walk down memory lane… Keep reading »

Bill O’Reilly Thinks Miley Cyrus Is A Bad Influence

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly has called for a conference to discuss the “racy” photos leaked on the internet of Miley Cyrus flashing a lil’ green bra at a camera when she was 14. “Look, we have so few role models, particularly for little girls in this country,” he said. “She is the main one. I hate to see this. Parents all over the country like this girl because she is clean-cut.” The fact is, we listen to Miley Cyrus (so not embarassed about that) and do think her music has a little sexiness that maybe is odd for 14, but after Britney Spears and her “Hit Me Baby” mini skirts and crop tops, she seems pretty tame. Also, what is the point of a conference headed by Bill O’Reilly? No one would get a word in edgewise on this oh so important topic. [Us Weekly] Keep reading »
