Is Chris Brown a big, fat liar? A backstage source claims Rihanna‘s abusive ex used tear-inducing eye drops to force his emotional “breakdown” during the Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards. The source tells US Weekly, Brown’s bodyguard gave the singer the eye drops and Brown “rubbed it in and started crying.” It’s telling that just two days ago the R&B singer Lloyd claimed he told Chris Brown to cry on command. So last night, Chris Brown performed at the BET Awards, paying tribute to Michael Jackson with a dance medley and song. It’s no wonder Chris fancies himself the next MJ — that boy can dance and totally showed Rihanna how the Moonwalk is done. But when it came to singing “Man in the Mirror,” a song that definitely hits home for Chris after he beat the crap out of Rihanna last year, Chris was a blubbering mess. Seriously, I don’t think he completed one lyric. He just flailed his arms, wiped his tears, and hung his head while the crowd and Michael (through a recorded version of the song) sang. Last night on the BET Awards, Chris Brown — you know, that guy who beat up Rihanna and fancies himself “the next Michael Jackson” — performed a tribute to the late King of Pop. Brown was so “overwhelmed” by “emotion” — i.e. he saw an opportunity to draw attention to himself in a desperate attempt to appear compassionate and sensitive — that he broke down into tears and had to be comforted backstage by Jackson’s brother Jermaine. Janet Jackson Makes First Public Appearance At BET Awards

This video gave me the mega Monday sadsies. Last night, just a few days after her brother’s death, Janet Jackson stepped out to give thanks to his fans at the BET Awards. For a minute, she was able to keep her composure. “To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family,” she said. “And he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all of your love. Thank you for all of your support. We miss him so much.” Then her voice got shaky.
