Samantha Cole’s Collection Inspired By “Female Warriors” In Film

Fashion designer Samantha Cole, who previously worked for Burberry, has based her latest collection of edgy and sculptural pieces on “female warriors.” For inspiration, Cole referred to Tina Turner in “Mad Max,” Kate Beckinsale in “Underworld,” and Jane Fonda in “Barbarella.” Can you see it?

We love it when there are tangible influences in fashion; we love even more that Cole took hers from the idea of badass women. Unfortunately, these avant-garde pieces aren’t quite wearable (or affordable enough) for the everyday girl. But, we’re sure Lady Gaga would be interested in seeing Ms. Cole’s wares. A few more images from the collection after the jump! [LateMag.com] Keep reading »
