Apparently, Aubrey O’Day is a big fan of using her doggie Ginger as an accessory. She’s moved on from cutesy costumes, and is now all about dying her pup’s fur wild colors. “[Ginger] likes to have looks,” O’Day says. “It actually seems like such a taboo weird thing, but if you research online, you will see a whole underworld of dogs who are dyed. She sits on my lap, and I have a brush, and I paint it on and use foils.” She picked the green and orange colors on the left because, supposedly, Ginger loves the Boston Celtics. So which of these dog looks is the most dignified—the sports enthusiast on the left, the pink ears in the middle, or the crab costume on the right? Would you ever do any of these things to your dog? First Aubrey O’Day butchered our favorite New Order song, “Bizarre Love Triangle.” Now, she’s defending dictators and mass murderers. For some reason, she appeared on Sean Hannity’s show yesterday, and you won’t even believe what she had to say about Fidel Castro and Adolf Hitler. According to her, they’re both brilliant? Yeah, she never was the sharpest knife in the drawer.

New Order’s amazing “Bizarre Love Triangle” is one of the most-covered songs of all time. I was down with Frente’s acoustic take on it for that movie “Threesome” forever ago. But I dunno about Aubrey O’Day‘s new version, which throws out the old lyrics and makes it all about how she’s media roadkill. Sample lyric: “Everytime they see us fallin’, they get down on their knees and hate.” Uh, no wonder Diddy kicked her out of Danity Kane?

Eddie Murphy was never really respected as a singer, but don’t tell that to former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day. She has remade Eddie’s “Party All the Time,” off his 1985 LP How Could It Be. Eddie’s “Party All the Time” sounds like typical ‘80s synth-heavy pop music, but Aubrey was able to update it for 2009. And by update I mean she used all the voice-enhancing technology available in 2009. That being said, I have to admit that I did enjoy listening to her version, but it won’t become my favorite song or even make it into my iPod. Aubree O’Day is the latest celebrity to get a crappy tattoo in a dumb place on her body—she posted these photos on her Twitter which show her getting “Je ne sais quoi” inked on her middle finger. That means “I know not what” in French. I know not what to say about this other than WHATevs.

Heidi Klum is featured on the March cover of German GQ wearing only nail polish and makeup. Aubrey O’Day, surprisingly, is fully clothed on Playboy‘s March cover, although her dress and heels are so close in color to her skin that she is meant to look naked. Who do you think has the sexier cover?

In Rolling Stone‘s cover story on Britney Spears (on newsstands today), the singer describes some recent dates she’s been on, all “supervised” by her assistant. While none of the dates have been successful, it goes without saying that post-Federline and post-breakdown, Papa Spears is keep a very close eye on who his daughter hangs out with. While some say Britney still holds a candle for Adnan Ghalib, we think she should drop that trash and, when she’s ready, find herself a man who’s not going to use her. Who knows what her mom and dad will approve of—they don’t seem to want too many people to get close to Britney and her millions—but we have some suggestions that could totally work.
