I’ve gotten really annoyed with the recent spate of movie remakes. Do we really need to see Channing Tatum in a reboot of “21 Jump Street”? Probably not. But then I watch previews for actually new original movies — like the trailer for this new flick called “ATM” — and it makes me long for another overblown “Charlie’s Angels” sequel. At first, I thought, there’s no way this could be real, but then I remembered that in 2002 Colin Farrell made a similarly ridiculous movie called “Phone Booth,” in which he was stuck inside a phone booth for the length of the film.
