Last night on “The Bachelorette,” Ashley Hebert headed to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to whittle her cadre of men down from 11. Thanks to some Muay Thai boxing, a surprise elimination and some Ashley freak outs, it was a pretty darn entertaining episode. After the jump—the good, the bad, and the head-scratching moments.

Hollywood these days is all about positioning and spin, and—what can we say?— it’s made us more than a little jaded. In this new column, we will share some of our most out-there theories about what’s really going on in the celeb-u-verse. Now, keep in mind that none of this is based on fact or even on the testimony of anonymous sources. They are purely hunches, and we could be totally and completely wrong. That said, we would not be super surprised if, some day, it came out that a few of our theories were right.
I believe I’ve uncovered the hidden agenda of this season of “The Bachelorette.” Ashley Hebert doesn’t give a fig about finding love. And she doesn’t actually want to become a dentist, even though she’s in school for it. It seems to me that she’d be more interested in becoming a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars.” The evidence after the jump. Keep reading »
With his caustic personality and kajillions of dollars, Larry David
is not someone I would like to have as an enemy — so Bentley Williams
had better watch out! Both Larry and “Bachelorette” Ashley Herbert
were guests on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night and Larry couldn’t stop himself from interjecting during Ashley’s interview. Ashley, of course, had her heart broken by Bentley, who pretended to be interested in her
while also trash-talking her on camera. Larry wasn’t aware of the details of Bentley’s douchebaggery, but no matter: “I’m gonna kill that mofo,” he announced. Get in line, Larry. [via PopEater

has managed to hijack Ashley Hebert
‘s season of “The Bachelorette
” so far. The reason he gave for being so miserable with Ashley? That he was hoping “The Bachelorette” would be Emily Maynard
, the beautiful Southern belle who Brad Womack
chose in the final episode last season. Well, now the woman of Bentley’s dreams has weighed in on his behavior in a video blog. “I’m not totally convinced that had the ‘Bachelorette’ been me, he wouldn’t have said, ‘Oh, I wish it was Ashley.’ He clearly had an agenda for being on the show and it wasn’t to fall in love,” Emily said. “What goes around, comes around. If I were Bentley, I would certainly be sleeping with one eye open.” True dat. [People
But what if Emily was “The Bachelorette”? According to one tabloid, she may just have a shot … find out more, after the jump!

I was nauseous as I watched Bentley Williams play out his sociopathic master plan on Ashley Hebert on the latest episode of “The Bachelorette.” I still can’t understand how — even if he was behaving like a pathetic excuse for a human being — it benefited him in any way to reveal his cruel intentions on national television. Why? Just why? Especially considering that Bentley is allegedly a strict Mormon, which means he doesn’t drink alcohol or have pre-marital sex. But it’s okay for him to intentionally deceive people? It just doesn’t add up. I’m sure the Mormon Church would not approve.

“I had feelings of nostalgia, excitement, hurt, betrayal and embarrassment. I could not stop watching. I was glued to the screen and even though I lived it, I quickly learned that I did not know many things that were being said when I wasn’t around. As I watched, I found myself both laughing and crying. People may speculate I was attracted to the ‘bad boy,’ or maybe they thought I wanted what I couldn’t have. The truth is that I always look for the good in people, and I saw that in [Bentley]. I only knew what he showed me, and I felt it to be real at the time. I can tell you that from the bottom of my heart, I don’t remember ever feeling this depth of hurt and embarrassment.”
—Ashley Hebert, this season’s “Bachelorette,” writes a diary entry for People.com about how it felt watching last night’s episode, where she finds out that her favorite of the guys—the one she says she’s in love with—actually had no feelings for her, said nasty things behind her back, and was “playing everyone.” We hear you, Ashley. Here’s hoping you were able to move on from the episode and fine-tune your BS detector because of him. [People] Keep reading »
