Woman Sues Ashley Madison — But Not For The Reason You’d Expect

Woman Sues Ashley Madison

Of all the reasons to sue Ashley Madison, Doriana Silva certainly has an original one. The Brazilian immigrant living in Toronto is suing the dating service for married people for $20 million, claiming that she permanently damaged her wrists typing hundreds of “fake female profiles” for the site.  Keep reading »

So, apparently cheating doesn’t take up as much free time as we thought it would. While married women were busy scouting out the profile of this weekend’s lover on AshleyMadison.com, 52,390 of them took a quick pause for survey about what they like to wear. The straying missus doesn’t walked around with a scarlet letter pinned to her chest, after all. And what did it reveal? Not a whole lot.  The whole staff of The Frisky could be cheating wives according to this “data.” The top five stores a cheating wife apparently shops in are Banana Republic, J.Crew, Macy’s, Ann Taylor and H&M; she prefers Marc Jacobs purses, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and tankinis at the beach; and her summer must-haves are a maxi dress, colored skinny jeans, and a pencil skirt. How … interesting? According to AshleyMadison.com’s CEO:

“Becoming more concerned with one’s appearance is often a dead giveaway for an affair. If your spouse suddenly seems more consumed with style and putting outfits together after spending years in sweat pants, that is a tell tale sign she could be two timing.”

I’m guessing these answers are completely the same as faithful wives. But maybe that’s exactly what these cheating wives want you to think. Sneaky! [AshleyMadison.com]

Tim Tebow photo

Oh AshleyMadison.com, I thought that creating a dating website to promote adultery was the douchiest move any single site could make, but I stand corrected.

Today, you guys have managed to outdo yourselves by offering $1 million dollars to any woman who could prove she had sex with Tim Tebow. Really, guys? I understand that it is daring to point out the hypocrisy of others, but what happened to the good ol’ days when people’s private lives were, well, private? Who appointed you guys the moral police squad, anyways? I am pretty sure your site has perpetrated far worse crimes against morality than this dude’s virginity claim. Not to mention, how the heck would a girl be able to prove she had sex with Tim? Would a jock strap with his initials on it be adequate proof? If so, I’m coming by to collect that cash in a jiffy! Chilean Cheater Offered $100K To Be Spokes-miner For Infidelity Site

Last week, Chilean miner Yonni Barrios charmed the world when he emerged from being trapped for two months underground and headed straight into the warm, loving embrace of his mistress, Susana Valenzuela. Now the Tiger Woods of mining has been offered a $100K contract with the infidelity-promoting website AshleyMadison.com, to be the Spanish-speaking spokesperson in ads and on TV. Keep reading »

Post-Mother’s Day Is The 2nd Most Popular Day For Philandering Women!

Is today weird statistic day or something? According to AshleyMadison.com, that online dating site for people who are already married and looking to cheat, they had their second highest number of female sign-ups last year the day after Mother’s Day. The day after Valentine’s Day is the most popular sign-up date for women, while the third biggest day is New Year’s Day. So, why are women so apt to explore cheating on their man the day after these big holidays? In my opinion, all three holidays come with big expectations, especially for women in two out of the three. It’s logical to assume that when their men come up short in showing their appreciation, these women are left feeling unhappy with the relationship and might desire an escape. Given that Valentine’s Day is a holiday every coupled woman can celebrate with her man, the popularity of sign-ups the day after Mother’s Day (a holiday fewer women celebrate) is even more surprising to me. Mind you, for the most part, I think Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day are Hallmark holidays focused on shallow consumerism, but, whatever, I get why it would be hurtful to have your kids and baby daddy act like ungrateful dillweeds even that one day out of the year. I do not get, however, why it would drive anyone to a dating site as lame and skeezy as AshleyMadison.com. I mean, if you want to cheat on your husband, do it the old-fashioned way. Or tell him he’s being an ungrateful jerk. Or, you know, just divorce him. [MomLogic] Keep reading »

A Day On Shameless-Adulterer.com

Cheating is a tricky business. As it should be, considering it is morally reprehensible. However, I’m not here to judge anyone about their extra-marital affairs, I’m just here to give the facts. And the fact is AshleyMadison.com is supposedly the world’s number one “dating” service, with over 2.5 million members. I decided to do a little undercover work and signed on to the site to find out exactly what members are entitled to. This site began in 2001 — with the motto “Life is Short. Have an Affair.” — but has just not started to garner attention since it’s been featured on “The Tyra Show,” “20/20,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Dr. Phil,” and “Larry King Live.” One woman told Tyra that within the last six months of being on AshleyMadison.com, she’d slept with about 150 people.
